The apartment is really fantastic for those who love an authentic Tuscan stay. Maybe less for people who like more luxury and renewal. Lack of wifi is a pity if you want to look things up etc is still the most useful online. There is only TV with Italian (or Italian duplicated channels). Kitchen and bathroom comfortable and functional without frills. Unfortunately, I had bad weather so I had to sit inside from time to time and then the space (especially kitchen) is very dark. I thought it was great myself! The location with great terrace, the atmosphere the apartment has... (but pay attention to steep stairs up, not convenient if you can't walk well). Very nice and quick contact with host. Certainly subject to repetition for me.

We had a lovely stay at Julia's. The view is breathtaking and the bed is really comfortable. Fresh eggs in the morning were a very nice surprise and we had everything we needed for breakfast. The access by car is quite steep but very managable. Julia speaks french, which made everything easy for us. She also gave us great advice for food in Greve and for hikes near the house. Maybe a little extra soundproofing between the room and Julia's home would be a nice addition but however a really great place!

Nicely renovated and very clean. Special spot that was very quiet. Would be nice if wifi reached the beautiful terrace.

What an incredible location in the beautiful Tuscan hills! It really is better than the photos…there are views from every window and the sun floods the kitchen in the morning. Monica met us at her home and welcomed us with a bottle of wine and tins of olive oil. Every detail is so carefully attended. We enjoyed walking to three local wineries especially Altiero (Paolo will provide a great sampling of his wines while you enjoy the view!) and having cocktails and dessert at the Villa Bordoni hotel just up the hill. They have an incredible garden not to be missed! We cooked our own Florence steaks on the grill. Monica’s husband set it up perfectly for our Sunday dinner. The town of Greve in Chianti is very close and the COOP has everything you need. There is also a butcher shop for the specialty steaks. I’m convinced, everything tastes better in Tuscany…the olive oil and balsamic vinegars, and the produce is so fresh. Don’t hesitate to book this home for a relaxing and memorable stay!
