Monthly Rentals in Monte Isola

A wonderful little hidden gem on a wonderful island in a wonderful lake! Floriana's house was a perfect place to stay on Monte Isola, we liked it so much that we extended the stay over several weeks. The quietness on the island, the sound of the water directly in front of the house, the wind on the lake, the many options for walks all over the island, the beautiful olive groves, villages and churches - and all of it carfree. We definitely fell in love with the island and will be back more than once...Thank you very much for sharing this very special place, Floriana!

A really special place to stay on Monte Isola, away from the main ports and tourists. The house design is unique and the outdoor space is the highlight with views of the lake - a beautiful reward after the 25 min uphill walk from Carzano and a great way to disconnect as there's no wifi. We had the last week of warm weather to enjoy the outdoor space but there are extra blankets so that you can sit outside to enjoy your coffee (french press + coffee provided) or a glass of wine. We also found that starting the hike from Giuseppe's place up to the peak was a much nicer route. It's worth noting that we stayed from Tuesday-Thursday end of October, so the restaurants in the close by village of Siviano (10 minute down hill walk from Giuseppe's) were closed at that time. But there's a 2 euro minibus that takes you to the main port of Peschiera where a couple of restaurants were still doing dinner. As the house is self-catered I'd recommend doing food shopping before getting to the island.

Our second stay at this lovely apartment and it did not disappoint. The views over Lake Iseo were absolutely stunning – every morning felt magical waking up to the serene lake framed by the surrounding mountains. The apartment itself was spotless, modern, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The layout made it feel spacious and inviting, and I especially enjoyed relaxing on the balcony, taking in the breathtaking scenery. The location was perfect, allowing easy access to local attractions and nearby restaurants. Umberto and Roberta are wonderful hosts and very hospitable. Whether you’re looking for a peaceful getaway or an adventure around Lake Iseo, this apartment is the perfect choice!
