Farmstay vacation rentals in Montalcino

This was a beautiful and peaceful stay! The views are out of a magazine and the apartment itself was beautifully rustic. If you want a true countryside experience and to be out of the hustle and bustle, this is for you. The place was perfectly cleaned and fully stocked with everything we may have needed. In addition Sara and Marcelo, the ‘local contacts’ were extremely nice and helpful. We accidentally locked ourselves out one evening and the two were immediately responsive and helped save the day haha. Great place, would recommend if you are looking to have a peaceful countryside experience.

We were six adults, two children (3-year-olds) and one infant staying at the house for a week. It’s located in a secluded spot with a large garden and beautiful views of the Tuscan landscape. We used all of the five bedrooms upstairs and they were dark and cool. The kitchen and living room downstairs also stayed cool. Right outside the kitchen there’s a really nice spot that’s in the shade for the most part of the day, where we had most of our meals. This is a great place to relax and enjoy a dip in the pool. However, you definitely need a car to get around. The gardener came around several times a day to maintain the pool etc. We appreciated this, but might be good to know if you’re looking for complete privacy. We also had some issues with the bathrooms; one toilet and a shower didn’t work properly but were fixed within a day and this didn’t affect our experience. The washing machine didn’t work despite repeated attempts by the host to fix it. The barbecue is in the trash room.

Alexandra's place is a great location to relax and enjoy peaceful surroundings. We enjoyed taking country road walks, lake side and hill top towns. All very nearby. Alexandra was very helpful and accommodating.

L’atmosfera è familiare e rilassante, ideale sia per un breve soggiorno che per una vacanza più lunga. Il punto di forza è sicuramente l’ospitalità: i proprietari sono gentili e disponibili, sempre pronti a dare consigli su cosa visitare nei dintori Voto: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Consigliato a chiunque voglia sentirsi come a casa anche lontano da casa!

Lovely historical city within walking distance and plenty of outside space for the small ones to go on adventure. The communication was smooth, friendly and professional. We will come back for sure😊

Una location stupenda. Flavia è un host eccezionale: accoglienza con tanto di introduzione turistica alla val d'Orcia e degustazione del loto ottimo vino (da acquistare assolutamente, con ottimi prezzi). A ogni necessità, Flavia è super disponibile e veloce nel risolvere i problemi. L'appartamento si presenta pulito e fornito di tutto il necessario per immergersi nella vita di campagna! Consigliatissimo.

Le seul chose que je pourrais dire de négatif c’est le manque d’éclairage pour la cuisine et salle à manger . Pour le reste tout est parfait si on aime le décor de la campagne:-)

I went to Val d'Orcia by car, and google maps took me right into Daniela's place no problem. Upon arrival, we were cheerfully greeted by their two friendly dogs, that barked our arrival to a friendly and receptive older lady who showed us where to park the car and proceeded to show us our place. The place is on the ground floor of the property and has no direct connection with the rest of the house where the hosts live. It has a bedroom, a bathroom and an open space style kitchen-living room. It is just a five-minutes drive to the historic centre of San Quirico d'Orcia, where you will find a market (Coop) and other places to eat. Bear in mind that these places close during the afternoon. It is extremely straightforward to go to Pienza and Montepulciano from there by car. The location is beautiful and fairly easy to access by car. There are some narrow roads leading to the property but nothing to worry about. Overall the stay was excellent and I would recommend Il Colombaio.

Wunderschöne und geschmackvolle Anlage in ruhiger Lage mit tollem Ausblick. Die Wohnung ist sehr gut ausgestattet, hochwertig und geschmackvoll eingerichtet sowie blitzsauber! In der Küche findest du alles was du für deinen Aufenthalt benötigst (Öl, Salz, Zucker etc.) ein tolles Extra ist das kleine „Willkommenspaket“ von Ian mit Wein, Brot, Butter und mehr - Danke! Wir können den Aufenthalt bei Ian mit seinen zwei großartigen Hunden Fellow und Ludwig wärmstens empfehlen! Besuche während deines Aufenthalts die mittelalterliche Stadt Anghiari und für Backwaren die Antico Forno Bindi und mache unbedingt einen großen Spaziergang durch die Weinberge und Wälder rund um die Unterkunft.

La Bulletta ci è rimasta nel cuore!il luogo è incantevole, si è immersi nella natura e la posizione è sempre ben ventilata il pomeriggio e la notte. La piscina un valore aggiunto,dopo tutti i nostri giri un bel bagno per rigenerarsi è stato apprezzato da tutti. Daniele,con la sorella Emanuela e la piccola Lucia,il papà e la mamma sono davvero splendidi, ci hanno dato consigli sui dintorni e non solo. Torneremo sicuramente!!!

What a beautiful stay! We loved everything! Neri was our host and was so friendly and nice, the room was really clean and spacious, the farm absolutely gorgeous. The pool just opened, was cold but we still went in. We got a wine tour which was so fun, and even got engaged in the secret garden :) will definitely be back!

We had a lovely holiday in Tuscany. The villa is surrounded by beautiful scenery with lots of day trip options nearby. We added on a cooking class with Raimondo and Viola (Nada's daughter) and learnt so much. We will definitely be making fresh pasta from now on! The villa is well equipped, and nicely furnished.

In one word amazing ! in two words highly recommend ! we where 5 adults and the place was warm and welcome . full kitchen , absolutely amazing view and private . Thanks sara for all your help !

We had a wonderful stay at the farm! There’s a reason everyone gives it 5 stars! The beauty of this spot is unparalleled and the pictures don’t even do it justice. It’s special. It’s majestic. The cooking class was a highlight and the meals that were prepared each night were outstanding (and filling!) It was lovey to meet other travelers - I feel like this spot attracts cool folks and the clean refreshing pool was a great respite from the heat. We loved the animals too - they are so sweet! We had come complicated transfers to arrange and Ilaria helped us easily coordinate. I would recommend this place to any and all and we will surely be back!

We absolutely loved our stay at Il Torino! The staff were so helpful and kind, and the room was really comfy. It was r free eat to have a kitchen so we could store some food and prep when we wanted a break from going out to eat, though all the local restaurants we went to were so wonderful! We used the pool and tennis courts which were so fun, and the laundry was very helpful. It helps to have a car if you want to do any excursions from the resort. Would recommend to anyone!

This Airbnb was an absolute dream. Perfectly located in the countryside, it offered incredible views of the surrounding vineyards and rolling hills—sunrises and sunsets were simply unforgettable. The property was charming, spotless, and full of character, with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The hosts were warm and helpful, offering great local tips and making us feel right at home. It was the ideal spot to unwind and experience the beauty of Tuscany. We’re already looking forward to coming back!

Our family loved this cottage. Plenty of space for the kids to stretch their legs and the recommendations for a private chef were amazing. Easy drive to lots of lovely places in the Chianti region.

Luca's place was like a little dream, a beautiful house in an incredible location, super peaceful and mesmerising, great for a little jump out of busy cities and noisy every day life thanks to a beautiful scenery with lovely rustic vibes. Private sauna an incredible bonus! Luca has been very friendly and welcoming, the whole experience is incredibly recommended. ❤️

wir haben es sehr genossen dort. leider konnten wir das schöne Schwimmbad sowie den Grill-Bereich nicht nutzen aufgrund unseres dichten Programms - wir müssen wohl nochmal kommen ;)

We LOVED outrstay here. First of all, Lorenzo was a fantastic host, communicative, available for every need, lovely to talk to. The property is incredible - a beautiful peaceful space to walk around, and some adorable cats to pet. Our favorite things about this space include: the gorgeous outdoor picnic setting for our meals, spotless kitchen with anything you need to cook, complete blackout and silence at night for a restful sleep and privacy. I highly recommend this for anyone wanting to explore Tuscany, as this is a great place to stay and a reasonable drive from main Tuscan sites.

An incredible home, beautifully designed and restored. Rob and Illonka were both friendly, fun, and very caring for us. They came to help us when we had car trouble and always gave us fantastic recommendations for everything from parking lots to wonderful restaurants. The property is beautiful and so peaceful. There are plenty of towns and cities close by to visit, our favorites being Assisi, Gubbio, and Perugia. A car is a must, and this home has cylindrical stairs, so not good for anyone wobbly on their feet.
