If you get a chance to stay here, do it! Matteo is a superb host who demonstrates knowledge and caring. He goes the extra mile without being asked and it really helped us when our car rental fell through. The cottage is very well stocked with anything you might need. It is especially nice to stay on site in the Monteriggioni Castle because after the day tripping tourists leave, the castle is mellow and beautiful. Because we have been away from home a long time, we needed to do laundry. The washing machine is in a small shed next to the cottage and a drying rack was provided. We tried two of the restaurants within the castle and felt both had excellent food and the service was attentive and friendly. The best thing I can say about this booking is that we would love to stay there again if our travels bring us back to Toscana.

Your place was exactly what we needed. Outside in the countryside and still very close to beautiful Siena. The place radiated calm, we felt at home right away. We were very happy with all the advices for trips, restaurants and places to see. Grazie mille!

They responded quickly to every question and did everything to make us feel at home, providing us with useful tips on the area and making sure we didn't miss anything. The house was impeccable, well-maintained and as described, with all the necessary amenities for a pleasant stay. The owner's attention to detail and care made the experience even more special. A compete little house with everything one needs. Lovely patio with views of the hills. Bus every hour to Siena center. 15 minutes ride. No real shops in San Martino. Nice host.
