Lake house vacation rentals in Mono Lake

Alaina's cabin is paradise. Gorgeous setting looking over Pine Mountain Lake. Beautiful space inside. Our family of 7 enjoyed all the rooms and amenities. Kayaking and paddle boarding. Playing board games on the deck. Meals at the large dining table. It was perfection and I highly recommend! Alaina answered all questions quickly and with kindness. 10/10

We loved our stay at Pati and Joe’s place. We were dropping our daughter off at sleep away camp and decided to make a weekend of it in Groveland. The house is perfectly situated on the lake and only a 5 minute drive from Main Street in Groveland with fun restaurants and shops. Pati was very communicative and made it easy to get into the house on check in day. We spent most of the time hanging outside on the lake. The kayaks were great and we just paddled around to different beaches and swam. An amazing and relaxing weekend in a beautiful part of the state. We hope to be back!!!

A gem of a listing! This wonderful home made for the perfect long weekend getaway for our two families. It felt safe, VERY spacious and well equipped with all that one would need for the most idyllic lake-side adventure. There was something for everyone! The host was very accommodating and very responsive. Appreciated how organized the kitchen was. It made it very easy to find all that we needed when prepping meals in the kitchen. Highly recommend treating yourselves to a cone at the Grove Mercantile in Groveland. The ice cream is out of this world! You’re welcome:)

The place was very cozy and perfect for our friend group mammoth snowboarding trip. The place was bigger than it seemed in pictures and very comfortable for 8 people. Close to a grocery store and the lodges. Overall great experience here. Just a little difficult to find at first. The stove top had a crack so we couldn’t use one burner. But we were still able to cook big meals. We would book here again if we come to mammoth!

A very cozy house, perfect to spend your holidays. If your plan is to visit Yosemite, staying in this house is strategic. In addition, you can do activities such as kayaking, fishing, swimming in the river and in the month of May rent a boat. We stayed several days and it is a very peaceful and quiet place, perfect to rest. We visited a lake called Don Pedro, it is 30 minutes from this house, we rented a boat and it was perfect to spend some time. Also, if you want to have a good time and have something delicious Mexican-style dinner "el arrolló la cantina" located in the city of Sonora, it's perfect. The host was very attentive, he answered each of my messages on time. I would definitely come back to stay in this house.😄

Perfect place for a big group. So much fun things to do inside and within the vicinity of the house. No need to go elsewhere. The true meaning of staycation. Host communicated well and very accommodating. Would love to comeback again, this time in Summer!!!

What a great stay for our adults family to hang out! This is a great location, but out in nature. This house was clean and the beds were comfortable. We had some people with walkers, so the ramp entrance was awesome. There is a small step into a few showers for those in wheelchairs. Overall though, the 1st floor is very handicapped accessible. Also, you can get to the deck from the front door ramp/porch, so everybody can enjoy the amazing view from the deck. There is a nice grill, and the kitchen is well stocked. The house does not have central heat, but there are plenty of space heaters around the house to keep it cozy. The host communicated well when we had a question. Oakhurst is about 15 minutes away, so you are not too far from groceries and restaurants. I would recommend Yosemite Pies if you head that way. Also, Raymond has a general store/restaurant really good food (burgers and such). Raymond has a museum that is only open on Sunday but looked cute.

Absolutely beautiful place with excellent views of the lake, quiet neighborhood, and comfortable beds! We love how dog friendly it is with the dog door. Instructions were clear and the place was easy to find. Very close to Ducey's and the Pine Resort. There are some steps to get to the home from the parking space, but my elderly parents tackled these with no issue. We would definitely stay here again!

Absolutely perfect late winter stay! We ventured up to Strawberry/Pinecrest based on fellow parent recs. Lara and Ryan’s place couldn’t be more perfectly situated, 10min from both Dodge Ridge and Leland Snowplay. Plus the property is next to a general store (with friendly owners) and across the street from a hotel restaurant. The space itself is ideal. A remodel that’s exquisitely done with well executed finishes. We cooked in the space and had everything we needed.

We had a great stay with our kids and it was perfect. Great location with access to big trees state park and bear valley.

We are a family of 5 visiting the Yosemite area for vacation We had the unfortunate experience of booking an Airbnb that was below standards for cleanliness. We began looking for an alternate place to stay at 12 midnight. It was Labor Day weekend and we messaged a few homes to for an Instant book. The stars aligned and Tori responded at 1:30am. She sent us the code to enter her beautiful home. The home was immaculate! Linens and towels were clean and fresh. The beds are so comfortable! The kitchen had the basic essentials and some spices that allowed us to prepare a few meals. She has Keurig machine for coffee. We used her full size washer and dryer and her grill outside-nice amenities to use during our vacation. The Mar-Val grocery store is only a 1/4 of a mile away and they surprisingly had everything you would need ! 10/10 recommend! She is definitely a Super-host!!

This has been one of my all time favorite air bnb experiences! The hosts were absolutely wonderful super friendly along with their furry friends all over the property. Definitely a cool experience for anyone who lives in the city. The lake and views are incredibly stunning! Loved our stay we are definitely coming back this summer!!

Martins place was great. Close to Yosemite as well as some really nice local hikes and waterfalls Martin told us about. The house was super spacious and had a very homey feel to it with some cozy cabin vibes. There was ping pong and giant connect 4 for the kids as well as some other games, everything we could need to cook including hot sauces for days, and gourmet coffee maker with grinder. For the adults. Bathrooms were spotless and pipes never froze like they have in some of our previous mountain rentals when the temperature hit the teens.

A nice home with renovated and up to date appliances and clean interior and plenty of room and natural lighting, enjoyed our stay and also helpful that any store you’d need is nearby and a close drive from home. Would stay again!

My friends and I had an amazing time at Michelle's place. The house was described perfectly and had everything we needed. We had 6 adults and 6 kids and all fit with plenty of space. Michelle was also very sweet and helpful. We will definitely be back!

We had a really wonderful stay with our family of five. The house was well equipped, and very comfortable and close to where we wanted to be in the snow. Highly recommend!

Regina’s place was truly exceptional. It was such a welcoming, clean, and immensely comfortable house — we felt so at home here. There was so much space and the home had such great attention to detail. The backyard was beautiful, and we even had a quick mini photo shoot there since it was so pretty. We came during summer time, so didn’t make use of the hot tub since it was really hot outside, but it seemed really nice for the cooler days. There is also a jacuzzi/tub indoors in the master suite as well, which was really nice even during the summer, since the entire home is very well air conditioned. The kitchen was fully stocked and had almost anything you could possibly need. There was also a plethora of board games, as well as a pool table, so there was so much to do just within the house itself. Regina was also a pleasure to work with and overall was a 10/10 experience. Note: AT&T service was good, but t-mobile was spotty in that area. But once we were in the house, the wifi alleviated any signal issues, so we didn’t have any problems.

Lake front property perfect for just hanging out in the lake and jumping off the dock. The girls and I did yoga on the patio one morning, and dinner on the balcony of the big house one night. It was the perfect stay for us.

As always our stay at the cottage was stellar. If you want a place that feels like home away from home this would be the pick for you!

The unit is modern and updated just as described and noted in the pictures. It has everything we needed for our stay. Mike is an exceptional host and we loved that the Red Line stop is right outside. No need to drive with easy transportation to the Village and Main Lodge! We will be back. Thanks, Mike and Tamie!

We had such a wonderful time staying here with our family! The kids absolutely loved the arcade—what a hit! The atmosphere was so quiet and peaceful, perfect for relaxing. We also visited the nearby beach lake, and the kids had a blast playing in the sand. We were hoping to go kayaking or paddle boating, but unfortunately, there weren’t any rentals available at the beach lake. Despite that, we still had a fantastic stay!

This house was exactly as described in the listing. Very clean and comfortable. The kitchen has everything needed to prepare meals at the house. The beds and couches are very comfortable. Shahla’s response time is great and her instructions for the house were clear and accurate. It’s an easy 2 minute walk to Dunn Ct beach. We would definitely stay here again!
