Jean’s property was just as described. The setting is peaceful and the home is so charming with a perfect layout with the bedrooms located in opposite ends. The kitchen is well equipped and spotless. So is the rest of the house. Bring coffee! I particularly enjoyed the outside dining table, and the upper sun terrace. We didn’t have time to enjoy the pool, and it wasn’t warm enough for me. But it looked lovely. We had a bit of difficulty driving on the dirt road, but once at the house we opted to take Tuk Tuks to drive back and forth into town. Just remember that the ride back could be more expensive if you are coming back late. Jean offered valuable information regarding lake outings, restaurants, shops and so much more! She made us feel right at home. Although we were a bit shocked about the 5 min drive on the dirt road, in the end we had a wonderful time and loved the peaceful setting!

Absolutely beautiful stay! The house was spotless, cozy, and had everything we needed. Aníbal was incredible arranging anything we needed. Waking up showering in the outdoor shower with that view and having the typical breakfast in front of the peaceful lake every morning was incredible.

We loved our stay here and would stay again! The badminton court and the kayak were great. The daily breakfasts were delicious and David helped book tuk tuks into town to go to restaurants. Only thing I would clear up is that there's really only 1 bedroom with privacy. The others are two and two without doors. Also, the beds are not the most comfortable, but worth it for the amenities!

At first it was a little difficult to find the place, but this was because we did not follow the instructions sent by Whats App where we were told that we should contact Adolfo. After we did it, everything was relatively easy and the house seemed like an excellent option to share with the family. Great views, peacefully and a good relaxing place. Adolfo was a great guy, he helped us with everything we needed. Al principio fue un poquito dificil encontrar el lugar, pero esto debido a que no seguimos las instrucciones que fueron enviadas por whats app donde se nos indicaba que debiamos comunicarnos con Adolfo, despues que lo hicimos todo fue relativamente facil y la casa nos parecio una excelente opcion para compartir en familia. Muy bonitas vistas, un lugar lleno de paz bueno para relajarse. Adolfo fue un buen muchacho que nos ayudo en todo lo que necesitamos.

Casa Paloma is stunning. No matter how thoroughly you view their photos, it will take your breath away upon arrival. We went as a group of 6 and had so much more space than we needed. The views are incredible even on gloomy days. We used the recommended private chef, masseuses, and transportation and all went smooth and were great experiences. We also utilized the paddle boards for sunrise, the yoga deck, and tezmescal and had no complaints about anything - they are such amazing amenities. The electricity did go out a couple of times, but the house is equiped with plenty of candles and makes for a great atmosphere. It’s a dream home with artistic decor. I will dream about this home for years to come.

The house, the lake, the views, the staff…all absolutely incredible! The house is ideally located within 5-10 mins walking or quick tuk tuk to San Marcos, and equipped with everything you need - pool, hottub, kayaks, loads of cooking supplies, more than enough towels etc. The rooms were huge, beds comfy and the caretakers available to help with anything and everything. The hosts were super responsive and the chef for hire cooked amazing meals. San Marcos has the cleanest water for swimming, and the national park with cliffs to jump or swim from is just a short walk or kayak away. The entire stay, just like the lake, was magical for our family of 5 (2 adults, 9 yo, two 7 yos) and not one we will ever forget!

The house is very beautiful. A lovely design and filled with beautiful touches and artwork. An amazing view off the veranda, and the gardens are relaxing and full of birds. We all enjoyed the clean pool very much too. Overall it was an amazing place to relax and recharge. There is a walk up to the local village of Santa Clara or tuk tuks to take you up the hill, and the village has a produce market on Saturdays. We also recommend CECAP for great meals with the best view, as well as fair trade traditional handicrafts. It was easy to get a boat at the public dock. It’s probably easiest to arrange your own driver and boat to the private dock as then it’s easy to contact them if they do not turn up or know where to go (problems we had through no fault of the host). Definitely shop in Pana as the shops are very small in Santa Clara. Be aware it was hazy every day for 6 days and apparently this is common in April (or other months too?) because of cane burning. Stunning location, even better than the photos. As others have warned: it is a hike up and down but so very worth it. We carried our own luggage and felt it was doable. It is situated between San Marcos and Tzununa, 15 min walk to Tzununa and about 30 min to San Marcos. Tuktuks do pass at times but not always available. We could order in dinner one night which was delivered and it was delicious. Owner is extremely responsive and helpful. This was an amazing and peaceful end to our stay at Lake Atitlan. Would 10000% recommend.

Matt’s house had everything we needed – kitchenware, linens, bottled water, a private garden. We met Jose the gardener when we arrived and Matt stopped by the second day. It’s a bit of a hike (20 minutes) to the main part of town, but that just means the neighborhood is quiet. I will note that various birds or critters made a ton of noise on the roof of the upstairs bedroom, which woke me up a few times, but this isn’t a complaint – that’s just how it is with the house’s lush trees. The house is large and lovely, clean and comfortable, with two balconies and outdoor seating and a BBQ in the garden. Would definitely stay there again.

This place was absolutely beautiful. The ladies that came and cooked for us were amazing. Food was amazing and so worth hiring them to cook for us. There really isnt anywhere to get food from around the area. Josue went and purchased the groceries for us and made sure that we had everything we needed. I cant wait to book this place again.

My friends and I had the best time at this airbnb. We loved it so much we wanted to spend all the time here. The space was more than enough for 9 of us. This place has so many amenities we felt like we had something to do all the time, especially the lake access in the backyard. We spent most of our time swimming in the lake and jumping from the pier. Also the heated swimming pool with a gorgeous view was perfect to relax after swimming in cold lake water. Adolfo was very helpful and responsive. Very grateful for salvador, rosa and bella for making us food and getting us anything we wanted from the town. They made our stay even more enjoyable and relaxing. Hope to be back here soon :)

Also very close walking distance to the North boat launch docks for access to the Lake. Teva, Ana and their team were extremely responsive and helpful. We had a great trip and spent many evenings and morning lounging around the gorgeous house. Hope to return again soon!

Great place to stay if you want to be in San Pedro but still have quiet. The casita was beautiful and Ximena was the best super friendly. I definitely recommend. Only thing is that there’s a lot of steps to get up to where the Bnb is. But you’ll find a lot of steps and hills everywhere in the lake. Beautiful place.

Nos encantó el lugar. Privado, tranquilo y con una vista espectacular. (Trae un drone si te es posible porque la vista está super). Mi esposa y yo pasamos unos días muy agradables en este lugar. Miguel-Lukas fue de gran ayuda, es un chico muy amable. Para llegar al lugar es un reto pero vale la pena caminar y escalar por 15-20 minutos.

Wow! What a magical place to stay while visiting San Marcos. As many have mentioned, the views are phenomenal. The setup of the place balancing open air and cozy indoors does truly feel like a glamorous tree house. I'll never forget my showers overlooking the lake, and being awoken by the most gorgeous sunrises peeking in trough the windows. The community surrounding the house was lovely. The kitchen had everything I needed to make some good meals, and the bed was so comfortable I did not want to get up most mornings. This is THE place to book while here. Just be aware it is a bit of a steep incline walk so if you struggle with that you can take a tuk tuk up to the property. I walked everyday and found it to be excellent exercise to get my day going. Truly one of my favorite airbnb experiences.
