John is a great host. The cottage was easy to find and we loved the place. We were there for a week over Easter. As a welcome there were three big Easter eggs waiting for our kids, so straight away brownie points from them:) The cottage was very cozy. Loved the stoves in the kitchen and living room. We had everything we needed in the house. The location of the house/area is absolutely perfect for exploring Kerry. Would definitely recommend a stay there.

We had a wonderful stay at Sharmrock cottage. The cottage is very spacious and pleasant. It's in an idyllic setting! The sublime landscapes are a veritable freedom from nature. It's very nice to be able to go hiking directly from the cottage without getting in the car. Our family stay was very relaxing and refreshing. Margaret and Patrick welcomed us very kindly. The house itself was spacious, immaculately clean, and had everything we could possibly want for a comfortable stay. Agnes was the perfect host—warm, welcoming, and full of great local recommendations. Her kindness made us feel right at home, and we were even greeted with a lovely gift upon arrival, which was such a thoughtful touch. The surrounding area offered gorgeous hikes, allowing us to fully immerse ourselves in the natural beauty. We left feeling refreshed, grateful, and already dreaming of a return visit.
