Monthly Rentals in Moinhos

We loved our family get away to Sao Miguel, and Jose’s place was located near everything we wanted to do. Just a 15-30 minute ride for us everywhere. The house was privately located near the beach- 10 minute walk, and there was a beautiful hiking path and waterfall 10 minute walk away. Jose was responsive to our communication, and the house was clean and perfect! The book of things to do and places to eat was highly organized and useful.

Great place close to beach and hiking trails

As older family members we couldn't be happier. Sven is a welcoming host and easy to approach. Nothing was out of his purview. The home is warm, clean and complete, but mostly the view is beyond expectations. The location is central to all on the island and we felt at home. Happy to stay in as well as explore. Sven's restaurant list was a plus as well as all things covered on his "list". I definitely expect to return and would hope to stay at Casa de Ilheu.

What a fantastic home to enjoy the North coast of Sao Miquel! The village is lovely and there are many hikes to take from town. The house was well equipped for cooking, time at the beach, rainy evenings in front of the fireplace, etc. Luis was very responsive to any questions we had and has shared a special spot with his guests.
