We have just returned from 2 weeks here and we had a fantastic time! Iain is so friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble! The house is ideal and perfectly matches the description! We had two dogs and the fully enclosed garden meant we could fully relax. We had a few days where we were unlucky with the weather so the heated pool was ideal and Iain was kind enough to make it slightly warmer for us! The house is so close to everywhere but still feels so private and quiet. We loved having the peace, but yet having everything we needed on the door step. We’d return in a heartbeat!

We had an absolutely amazing trip to Carcassonne and stay at Karine’s place. It is the perfect location to explore La Cité, literally steps from the outer walls. The apartment is beautifully decorated and was spotlessly clean. Karine and Alain were both incredibly helpful, and we were so grateful for the flexible check out and ability to leave our bags for our last day. I would without doubt recommend this stay and would love to return for a longer stay in the future. Thank you Karine and Alain for making our holiday so wonderful.

I will always remember this very special time at Maison Magnifique. The land, the home, the quietude of the natural surroundings...it all filled my soul and brought me such joy and peace. Guillaume was an incredible host, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The only thing I didn't like about my visit was having to leave! What a fantastic place to stay, I wish I could give the location more than 5 stars. Being in the castle after hours when it was practically empty was magical. And the apartment was good too, spacious and comfortable. The photos don't quite do it justice. Do note that the main floor is up one flight up stairs and the bedroom and full bath is up a 2nd flight of stairs. We arrived at night and it was a bit of a challenge to find and bring all our luggage but Silvia's instructions were good and she was proactive and asked for assurance that we made it even though it was late. As long as you are capable of bringing your luggage through cobbled streets and then up 2 flights of stairs we would highly recommend this place.

The stay went very well, the house perfectly matches the description and is easy to find. It is very pleasant, clean and its terrace is nice. Everything was perfect and the hosts are very nice and welcoming and even left us good nougat! I highly recommend it.

Small one-night stopover on our way back from the Christmas holidays in Kamelia's very cozy apartment. We wanted to introduce our children to the castle and the medieval city. It's done, especially since the accommodation is a 5-minute walk from the city gates. Kamelia is very responsive as well as her dad who hosted us very warmly. Carcassonne is a beautiful city. Next time, we'll stay longer. Thank you very much.

We had a great time with the family and Anne's place was a big part of it. We didn't miss anything, we can plan to cook there without any worries. The bedding was very comfortable. The place is very warm. In early spring, we were able to enjoy flexible check-in and checkout. We can only recommend this place!

Nice house and well positioned, so it is in a quiet area but close to shops and big cities (approx. 10-15 min). The host is very welcoming, very accommodating and flexible on check-in time. In terms of accommodation, no surprises, everything is described in the listing. Comfortable, peaceful, around the vineyards. Nothing to say about this nice little stay. Recommended.

Beautiful cottage with a sublime pool and a very nice garden in a bucolic environment. The bedding is really very pleasant with its very fine cotton sheets and towels too. Everything is very very clean. The surrounding countryside is breathtaking. The small town of Mirepoix right next door is very nice. Huge market on Mondays. And there's an equestrian show in Viviès next door on Sunday evenings in summer that's worth it…

A fantastic experience for our stay at Val and Phil's, I highly recommend them. Spacious cottage, superbly clean, very well arranged with all the elements to make your stay feel like home from the moment you arrive, thinking only about your vacation. A superb view, quiet, relaxing. I was with my 2 children aged 3 ½ and there are all the outdoor games to have fun with this undeniable plus which is the heated and covered pool even in this winter period. Val and Phil are more than remarkable Hosts, from the moment of your booking, they are very attentive to recommendations for visiting this beautiful area, for your shopping before arrival and for the best of welcomes. They had prepared toys and books for the children. Available and discreet. Fabulous experience.

Very good stay at Nicolas and Lucie's as described and close to Carcassonne. A place particularly suitable for families with a large clean and well-equipped house, the pool and playground. Games available for our children as well as a baby bed, a high chair, a well-equipped children's bathroom etc... There are good shops around. The location in direct proximity to Carcassonne is great. Our children enjoyed the daily visit of the adorable family cat and the presence of the small turtle and fish. Another plus: the pool with an essential safety fence with small children. We felt safe, quiet and close to everything at the same time. Nicolas and Sophie are responsive in messages, we appreciated their welcome as well as their little touches. Thanks for the welcome. So I would recommend this house for all the reasons I mentioned.

Parking place in front of the house is very convenient. Ahlane was very responsive and gave us all the information that made our installation easier. We had a great Easter time with my friends and children in this cottage. The park is beautiful and allows children and adults to enjoy the amenities (pétanque, swing, trampoline). The annex room, very large, allows you to eat together, to play billiards, darts, foosball, without disturbing those looking for calm. In short, the we were too pleasant. We'll probably come back to that.

I had the pleasure of staying in this beautiful apartment for several months during the winter and it truly exceeded my expectations. The location is unbeatable, overlooking Place Carnot, with everything a short walk away including: le canal du Midi, la rivière de l’Aude, and le Cité Médiéval. It was also fun using the electric bikes for hire just around the corner. As a female traveller, I felt safe in Carcassonne and didn’t experience any threatening behaviour. There’s plenty going on but with a peaceful, laid back vibe. The apartment is as described, spacious and full of French charm with south-facing windows which flood the lounge with sunlight, effective heating, an excellent quality firm mattress, and a large shower. The WiFi was robust and reliable for remote Zoom working. Fabienne was a great host—responsive and flexible, always willing to help but never intrusive. This apartment offers an authentic French experience in the best location. I can’t wait to return! Thank you!

Great to have been met at the airport by JOYCELNE. The flat was well equipped and perfectly situated within walking distance of Carcassonne's Bastide and the city centre. Near the River Aude , the surroundings were scenic and peaceful yet close to shops and restaurants an ideal spot to enjoy La vie en France.

Nice apartment, well arranged. Everything is well thought out. Sabine is accommodating and very pleasant. The building is quiet and the apartment was clean. The reserved parking space is a plus and makes the stay easier.

Great stay at this apartment! We were greeted by friends of the host who were very nice and warm. The apartment is very functional, with all the necessities. The decor is very nice, the bedrooms are spacious and the bedding is comfortable. Everything was clean upon arrival. The parking space is great, and we are close to the city (5 min drive).
