Cottage vacation rentals in Minehead

Debbie’s place is a little piece of paradise, the setting is stunning, the gardens are fantastic and the cottage is warm and cosy whilst also being spacious and really well laid out. We had everything we needed and immediately felt at home. The open plan kitchen into the cosy living room left us all feeling connected, utility space was really useful, conservatory with stunning views allowed us to dine together and relax during the day. Outside area is also stunning for meals on the patio and bbq’s and the hot tub was great to relax in on an evening looking at the stars in peace and tranquility.. there’s a slight walk up to the property across a field but once you’re in the cottage and its gardens it’s worth every step. Great for the dogs too. Loads to do in the area, our highlight was Lyme Regis beach.. many thanks to Debbie and everyone who made us feel so welcome. We would go back to Debbie’s place in a heartbeat!

Surridge Cottage is beautiful, as soon as we arrived down the lane we knew it would be perfect and it was and more. The cottage has been beautifully restored with high end finishes. Even the heated floor in the bathroom didn't go missed (my daughter loved it). Great location, we took a few trips out. Went into Lyme Regis and took the children to Crealy. If you want a private country break in a cottage, you won't beat it. Thank you, The Mellors x

Very lovely place, me and my girlfriend stayed here for a weekend and had no complaints. The host responded quickly and the property looked exactly like the photos. All the extra little touches like the fire wood, slippers, eggs and etc really made us feel welcome. Overall we really enjoyed our stayed and would happily stay here again.

We had such a lovely stay at the Potting Shed. The location was beautiful- so peaceful and picturesque. The Airbnb was cosy and the bed was extremely comfy. We were there in 30 degree heat but it was lovely and cool inside. Would highly recommend and would love to come back one day and stay again!

We spent the half term break at Little Burston with our two young children, we had a wonderful time. The accommodation was everything we hoped from the previous brilliant reviews and more. A clean, bright and large space. Well equipped with everything you could want (games, DVD’s, kitchen utensils). A tranquil and peaceful setting not far away from Dulverton and within striking distance of lots of activities. The hot tub kept the adults happy and the kids loved the garden, trampoline and games of football. Carol was a great host, instructions left at the property were clear and easy. Walking recommendations all great. Goats and chickens out of the kitchen window was a highlight for the kids. Up there with the best Airbnb’s we’ve been to in the UK. We would not hesitate to return, if visiting North Devon again and couldn’t recommend this place highly enough.

We had a beautiful week at The Cart Barn, beautiful location with beautiful views and a private garden which was perfect for our pooch! we spent most of our evenings watching the beautiful cows out the garden! the hot tub was a lovely addition and the barn had everything we needed to make ourselves and our dog feel at home! Some great recommendations in the welcome book and from the owners of local things to do! Will definitely be returning in the future! :)

Just back home after 5 very relaxing nights at The Net Loft. A beautiful, secluded hideaway with everything anyone could want/need for a few days away. The accommodation is extremely well equipped with the best appliances. The bed is so comfortable! With the bifold doors open sitting in the lounge area was so relaxing. It is a quick walk into the centre of Croyde where there are plenty of bars and restaurants to appeal to all tastes and budgets. Would definitely recommend The Net Loft. We will definitely be back. Helen and Paul’s place is the most beautiful and thoughtfully curated Airbnb we’ve ever stayed in. This home truly goes above and beyond, every room is filled with beautiful, thoughtful touches that made our stay feel so special. From homemade sourdough bread waiting for us, to individual toiletries and everything you could possibly need already provided, it was clear how much care and love has gone into creating this space. The garden was absolutely stunning, with cozy, comfortable furniture perfect for relaxing. And the hot tub under the stars! Just magical. The entire stay felt like a peaceful retreat, and we left feeling completely recharged. Helen and Paul were the perfect hosts — incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful. We can’t recommend this place highly enough.

Garden View is tucked away right in the historic centre of Llantwit Major. Closest pub 130 steps away and the others not much further. Good choice of pubs and food locally, takeaways and supermarkets too. Cottage is extremely quiet, well equipped, comfortable and cosy. Easy 30 minute walk to coastal path. A very restful stay for a few days.

What a gem of a place. Tranquil, lovely views from the bedroom, cosy cottage with a relaxing modern feel to it. Thankful that Chris/Freya could accommodate at the last minute, as we booked the night before quite late. We had a lovely surprise when we arrived, to find out a few lambs were resting in the small barn next to our garden patio with their mamas before they could be released into the field. It was such a highlight seeing the lambs jump around and stretch their legs as we sipped our coffees in the morning. Great location, approx 40min drive to Heddon Valley (we did a 24km run/hike from Heddon to Combe Martin, with a stop and looped back), and it's a 12min drive to Withypool if you want to do a big circular loop approx 12km to the Tarr Steps and back. You will have suggestions of places to visit in the welcome pack and a mal on the wall. The cottage comes with all the kitchen appliances you need. We also got to purchase some fresh eggs too, tasty! A perfect short weekend stay :)

We really liked the cottage. Very comfortable beds, plentiful hot water and decent water pressure in the showers, well equipped kitchen. Everything was spotlessly clean. We also liked Bampton very much and found some good local walks - and nice independent shops. Th

The Trout cottage is a very specious property, surrounded by nature and walking distance to shops, restaurants. Easy to park your car. Location of the cottage is really good for walks, and short drive from different attractions. Amanda is very good host, she is very quick to respond and takes a great care of her visitors.

Stunning location, very friendly, helpful and accommodating hosts. Plenty for the children to see and do, with plenty of space and a large garden including some outdoor games to play. Our girls loved staying here and we can’t wait to visit again.

What an awesome place, a proper hidey hole. Well presented, lots of nice little touches, everything you could possibly need. We had a wonderful break. Would definitely recommend it.

Beautiful cottage, very peaceful and private. Loved how perfectly wonky everything is. Great location to get to nearby beaches. Helen was very proactive and kept in touch throughout. If we visit this way again I wouldnt hesitate to book another stay.

Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit und Gelegenheit vom Alltag abzuschalten. Die Lage ist sehr ruhig. Die Unterkunt ist von Gail sehr gemütlich eingerichtet worden und bietet viel Platz, wenn das Wetter mal schlecht sein sollte. Die NP Dartmoor und Exmoor sind erreichbar, allerdings sollte man Nebenstraßen meiden ( Singletrack!), da man unter Umständen bei Gegenverkehr zurückfahren muss. Um das Dorf gibt es auch einige Spazierwege. Die zwei schwarzen Hunde sind sehr verschmust, Anschluss ist garantiert! Alles in allem perfekt für eine Auszeit!

The Coach House at Porlock Weir Is such a lovely property so comfortable, well positioned & much closer to the sea than the pictures would suggest. We loved our stay so much that have already rebooked for next year. Thank you to Chris & the team for an absolutely memorable & relaxing stay. P.s. our 2 hounds enjoyed it too🐶🐶👍

I cannot fault this place and honestly, the pictures don’t do it justice. We booked here for our first anniversary weekend and Tracey was so helpful with recommendations. There were lovely touches during our stay and extra bits for the dog too! Property was immaculately clean and very quiet surroundings. Kitchen had everything you needed and more- one of the best equipped air BnB kitchens we’ve used. Beds are gloriously comfy and slept really well. Good size shower with great pressure. Body wash provided-bring your own shampoo. Would 100% recommend and would definitely stay again.

Our stay at Godminster cottage was wonderful and I cannot fault the hosting by Belu. From the moment we booked he was friendly and easily contactable no was very accommodating to our various requests. The cottage itself is beautiful with a lovely walled garden and outside seating area. We will definitely be back to visit again!

Im gemütlichen Nest von James und Sue passt einfach alles: sehr hochwertige Einrichtung und Ausstattung, liebevoll arrangiert, man hat wirklich nicht das Gefühl, in einer Ferienwohnung zu sein. Überaus freundlicher und zuvorkommender Kontakt zu den liebenswerten Vermietern (und Familie) und entzückende Details wie ein bereits bestückter Kaminofen und ein „Starterset“ mit Lebensmitteln. Das alles und die fantastische Gegend hat uns eine wundervolle Woche beschert, an die wir lange zurückdenken werden. Wir kommen gern wieder und empfehlen das Nest vorbehaltlos weiter! A lovely home away from home with beautiful views of gentle rolling hills. We saw deer and a fox which was a bonus for us. The unit had everything we required to cook our evening meals (local pub has limited opening hours & wasn’t open during our stay), the bed was very comfortable and the shower was good. One of our favourite stays in the UK

Seymour was extremely friendly and helpful. The location and setting were wonderful and we had a lovely time walking three segments of the SWCP from Minehead to Combe Martin with our retriever Bonnie. Porlock and Porlock Weir are both short walks away with pubs and restaurants in both. Everything is just as shown and we had a great time, David, Ali and Bonnie
