Loved the place. Very cool old building. The place had everything we needed and beautiful decor and furniture. Wished I could have stayed longer! Easy walk around the village and to the pub and lovely cafes and shops.

Chapel Beck Milthrop Sedbergh

ShaunRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Great little place with historical features, very clean and well facilitated, under-floor heating was a god-send in the cold weather!. Only issue was the water temperature in the kitchen sink and bath (shower was fine), but overall really enjoyed stay with the family and dogs. Would definitely come again!

The Snug-your own cosy retreat

IanRating, 5 stars5 months ago
The Snug is a lovely little place, spotlessly clean and well equipped. Situated in a very peaceful spot, just a short walk down the quiet lanes to Sedbergh. Viv and Ernie are wonderful hosts, friendly and very responsive. Already planning our return trip 👍

Cosy Corner - Sedbergh Main St. - near Dales&Lakes

HarryRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We were here to celebrate a 70th Birthday and the Cosy Corner flat was ideal for our needs. The sun filled the lounge/dining area, making the place feel very welcoming. The comfy bed gave us three good night's sleep. There is a separate toilet and washroom basin room and a shower room with an amazing shower. The kitchen was well appointed and had lots of worktop space. Plenty of cutlery and cooking utensils, but we only ate breakfasts in the flat and ate out at lunchtime and in the evening. There are plenty of pubs and bars in the village, all within 10 minutes walk. Even a fish and chip shop and Pizza take away. We particularly enjoyed eating at The Black Bull, having the Taster Menu. A very smart dining experience. Also, the meals are good at the Dalesman, cosy atmosphere here. Real Ale at the Thirsty Rambler is top quality and less expensive. Cosy corner is ideally located for visiting the Lake District or the Western Yorkshire Dales. Or stay local and walk up Winder Hill. Bliss.
