I stayed at Shelia’s house for a total of four months and enjoyed every minute of it !! We felt right at home ! It was so beautiful , peaceful and quiet. Now that my stay is over I miss it !! It’s a great country retreat if you are looking for a place like that !! There is 5 acres to roam and a beautiful view of the pond out back especially in the evenings ! I enjoyed the porches and the house is comfortable. I just enjoyed relaxing !! It is close enough to Portal and Statesboro to buy groceries, go out to eat or enjoy Georgia Southern sporting events! You can enjoy exploring Statesboro. Shelia is a wonderful sweet host !! She’s also very easy to contact and friendly !! She checked on us to see if we needed anything. I would highly recommend a stay at Shelia’s !!!

Our stay at this Airbnb was nothing short of magical! From the moment we arrived, we were enveloped in true Southern hospitality and charm. The home itself was absolutely beautiful – think porch swing perfect for sipping sweet tea, beautifully appointed rooms with antique touches, and a general feeling of warmth and welcome. The location, nestled south of Augusta, offered the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle. We enjoyed peaceful morning listening to the birds. The host went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. The 'Southern charm' wasn't just a phrase – it was an experience. The slower pace of life, the friendly neighbors, and the genuine kindness of our host made this trip unforgettable.
