I was here for a work trip and this place made me feel like I was on vacation instead. The view of the stars from here is absolutely amazing. Such a cozy, clean, perfect space, and Lisa was so nice! 10/10 experience.

This was such a perfect place for me to take a working retreat! Blazing fast internet and perfect quiet for my work hours plus beautiful places nearby to walk or hike each day. The property is full of wildlife -- wild turkeys, deer, quail, osprey... The property has a ton of storage in the kitchen and bedroom and the place had everything I needed to live comfortably for a month.

My family and I stayed at Zen Casa as a mini staycation to kick off our year end holiday season. The home was comfortable and cozy. Jessica and Ian added festive touches throughout the main living spaces. These small details made us feel at home. Another thing to note, not only is the Zen Casa 10 minutes from the Hood River waterfront, it is about 6 minutes away from Safeway and Walmart. Its ideal location was helpful since we cooked our meals more than eating out. For the price and location, this place had it all.

This was my family's favorite of all the AirBnBs that we've stayed in (and we've stayed in a lot). Not only was it clean, comfortable, and lived up to (and more) the advertised listing, but Charlene had so many thought out details that just made us smile... the tea and coffee available, little snacks left for us if we wanted them, some bubbly waters and sodas in the fridge (which was wonderful until we were able to get our own), the best quality kitchen pans, etc. we've seen, and more. It is a little drive up the mountain, but worth it for a peaceful and comfortable home base. If we come back to the area we will definitely check to see if Charlene's place is available again. Reserve this home if it is available! You will be thankful you did!
