Monthly Rentals in Milden

This was our second visit. Last time was wet and windy but this time we were blessed with good weather so we were able to sit in the secluded sunny garden for a couple of hours when we arrived. Set in a lovely village, we had a good meal at the Crown one night then an excellent Sunday roast at the Peacock Inn in Chelsworth, which is just a 5 minute drive. Again we didn't meet Sarah but she responded immediately with any queries we had. We thoroughly recommend staying here.

The surrounding area is populated with buildings that are centuries old. Staying at the Old Forge involved us closely with the charm and history of this area of Suffolk. The local shop the Boxford Stores is the oldest recorded shop in Britain. The beams in the bedroom are beautiful, my husband even noticed the traditional plasterwork had horsehair within it. It's certainly the most historically interesting individual home we've stayed in , fascinating. The bed was so comfortable, we loved the quality of the bedding.

We had a fantastic stay at this lovely Airbnb near Lavenham. The house was spotless, well-maintained, and had everything we needed for a relaxing weekend. We especially enjoyed making use of the tennis court during the day and winding down by the fireplace in the evenings. A peaceful, well-kept spot that we’d definitely recommend!

Colin and Linda were absolutely wonderful hosts! We stayed for an extended period while awaiting the completion of our house, and they made us feel incredibly welcome and comfortable. Their communication was always prompt and helpful, making our long stay much smoother. What truly stood out was their kindness and willingness to go the extra mile. When we found ourselves needing daycare for our dog, they stepped in to help us out, which was a huge relief! Their generosity and understanding were truly appreciated. We couldn't have asked for better hosts. We highly recommend Colin and Linda to anyone looking for a comfortable and welcoming Airbnb experience. They made our transitional period so much easier.
