What a magical place! We were there for 3 nights in total and we had the best time. It’s in such an idyllic location with stunning scenery. The hosts are the loveliest couple and are so happy to help with anything. Even if you don’t have a car like us the transport links from Kyoto and Osaka are amazing and makes it really accessible. We would love to come back in the future

We had a wonderful stay at this traditional Japanese home in the peaceful countryside near Lake Biwa. The house itself was full of charm and character — a perfect place to unwind and experience rural Japan. Our host, Yu, was exceptional. He was always available and very responsive, offering to give us rides when needed and helping us make the most of our trip. His kindness and hospitality made us feel truly welcome. Communication in English was smooth, and we appreciated his thoughtful suggestions. If you're looking to escape the city and enjoy the beauty and calm of nature while staying in an authentic Japanese setting, this is the perfect spot. Highly recommended!

The service was very polite and kind, and I was able to stay with peace of mind.You can also use the BBQ set (including charcoal), and if you bring the ingredients, you can enjoy a BBQ.I had a very comfortable stay in a beautiful log house that was beautifully cleaned.It was nice that the bathtub was spacious.I made very fun memories!I'd like to stay here again.Many thanks!!
