The Antique Room

I had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb during the summer. The location by the Hudson River is simply stunning, providing a peaceful and serene atmosphere. While some renovations are needed on the ground floor, my overall experience was fantastic. I had the opportunity to meet some incredible and fun people. Chev, was incredibly responsive and attentive to our needs. He encouraged us to join in activities like running and kayaking, which added to the experience. The weekend hangouts by the fire, complete with food and storytelling, were a highlight of my stay. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a memorable getaway!

Chev & Anthia are responsive/understanding hosts. I love the room I was assigned to! (The Hudson View Room) Perfection isn't enough of a word to describe the property - I am still in awe of it. I can't thank them enough for giving me a safe space to come home to after work. Thanks again for everything

private Room + Free parking on the street

I stopped at Lily’s house for 3 nights as a female solo traveller. It was my first time visiting NYC and Lily was super helpful! On the first morning, she walked to the bus stop with me, and made sure I knew which bus to get to get to and from Manhattan. She was super hospitable, really made you feel at home. The room was very clean and spacious, the bathroom was always clean with fresh towels etc, and the home is beautiful! The area of Leonia is a lovely suberb, very peaceful and tranquil. Location wise - it takes around 35/40 minutes to reach Manhattan, and the bus stop is a 5 minute walk down the road. I would absolutely stay with Lily again if I came back to NYC. Thank you so much for a lovely stay!

The Sun Room

Chev's place is really welcoming. The house's multiple public spaces foster the building of a local community. And Chev went out of his way to address my concerns about security by adding a keyed lock to the door to my room. Although parking was sometimes unavailable on Chev's street, especially on weekend evenings in the fall, I was always able to find a free spot on or near the main street up the hill within a ten-minute walk north in the lovely Glenwood neighborhood of Yonkers. Public transportation is also available. The bathroom on the first floor where I stayed was renovated at the start of my stay, and was nicely done. The Hudson-facing wall of the room I stayed in was also updated with insulation and offers a view of the Palisades out a new picture window. When I had a question, Chev always replied quickly and courteously, and hosts a chat-group for residents who use it to share information and coordinate resources. This was a very good experience.
