Our Loft is located on the 3rd and last floor of a large house dating from the 19th century. Recently renovated, it combines modernity and old-fashioned charm, with stone walls and wooden beams. The large living space with a direct view on the port and the mountains, all facing south makes it very pleasant to live in.

Loft historic building in the medieval center of Castellón

The flat is centrally located, right on the "Placa des Homes". The smaller bedroom is right on the Placa of the home, so it can also be a little louder in the evening, which did not bother us. Free parking is available in the parking in front of the basilica, about 150 m away, where we always found a free parking space even with a little luck. The apartment was very clean, in each room there was a well-functioning air conditioning.

We had a very nice stay. The view from the apartment was even better than on the pictures, the hot tub was a nice extra, the hosts were very friendly and being able to get breakfast in the morning was a good benefit. We only stayed for one night, but would definitely recommend Fred's place for longer stays.

We really enjoyed our stay at Jean-Charles’ apartment. It had everything we required, including a good and reliable internet connection. The apartment was clean, was easy to keep warm (it was February), and in walking distance to most things we wanted to do. There is a metro stop nearby, bakeries, restaurants, bars, and a small shopping centre that included a supermarket.

Pleasant stay at Frédéric's. Close to the city center and 30 minutes from the city on foot. The clean apartment is tastefully decorated. It feels good and it is well insulated (phonetic and thermal for the month of December). There is no possibility of parking very close and there are 4 floors to climb on foot, so plan to have little luggage and not too heavy (parking 300 m away). The floorboards do creak quite loudly, but it's also the charm of old apartments, as long as you don't run on them or jump (I'm thinking of young children)! The 120 bed is suitable for children or young teens, more difficult for 2 adults. I recommend this place for 2 adults and max 2 children/young teens and also for discovering Carcassonne on foot. We were 4 adults during the period from December 28 to 30. We'll be happy to go back but just the two of us. Thank you Frédéric.

The location a past, in the middle of the mountains, surrounded by nature and animals, a whole experience. Raquel was attentive to anything we could have needed and was a happy host. The apartment adapts very well to what is described in the listing, we have not lacked anything, so nothing more to add. We keep this in mind for another time.
