Monthly Rentals in Middleton Tyas

We stayed at Virginia House as it was close to a local wedding venue. The house was lovely, very homely, modern but with lots of character and very well appointed with everything we could have possibly wanted. It was perfect for our adult family getting ready for the wedding and relaxing the day after. We had a refreshing walk and then a delicious meal at the local pub and the locals were all very friendly. We would all recommend Karen’s property and would love to stay again.

We stayed at The Bakehouse for a couple of nights as a little birthday celebration for our daughter. It was exactly what we were looking for. It is immaculately well kept and has obviously been renovated with love and attention to detail. It has everything you could need, there was even a special little bag of items for the dog. The cottage is just as described and if anything the rooms were larger than we anticipated. Beds were comfy, everything worked, the bath / shower was always hot and although we had no need of the log burner it was comforting to know it was ready to go. Loads of beautiful local walks and scenery, farm shops abound, and eye tests at Barnard Castle are easily accessible. I would definitely recommend The Bakehouse to friends and we hope to visit again. Stay was very enjoyable. The location is quiet and private. Craig was a great host. Would book again and intend to soon.

My wife and I had a lovely 3 night stay at Bluebell Cottage. Bev was a great communicator and very responsive. The Cottage was very comfortable with lovely decor and was perfectly located. There was a bottle of wine , milk and biscuits upon our arrival which was a nice touch too. We would definitely stay there again if we were in the area.
