Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Mid-Coast, Maine

It was a great place for a large group and the hot tub was key! The driveway to get up to the house was long and there is a steep hill at the end so you should be prepared with AWD if you're going in the snow. Also the largest primary bedroom with the wood stove has a door that connects to another room and that would have been good to know since we were traveling with couples. The primary bedroom does have its own staircase to use the first floor bathroom, but the shower is in the adjoining room so it could be a bit awkward if it's two separate families. Overall, it was a great place to stay in Bridgton - one of our favorite towns with lots of cute restaurants (Beth's!) and fun things to do.

We had a great stay. Our kids especially loved the hot tub and fire pit and the cozy bed upstairs. Beds were all very comfortable and clean. Host was responsive and left clear instructions. We would have loved to stay longer but it was still great just for one night.

This place is a gem! Anthony was a wonderful, friendly host. The property was clean, modern, and spacious. Remote enough to feel like you've escaped, but close enough to necessary amenities (like groceries), and just under and hour drive to Acadia National Park! Wouldn't hesitate to consider rebooking for a trip in the future!

The house was exactly as described and seen in the photos, a large, beautiful, authentic log cabin in the woods. The setting was quiet and beautiful though conviently right off the main road. We enjoyed cross country skiing, ice skating and a sleigh ride in Jackson (about 30 min away) and shopping in North Conway (about 20 min). Eileen made sure we were plowed and shoveled regularly during the snow storm so we enjoyed curling up by the fire and watching a movie on the large tv. My mother in particular enjoyed all the vintage decor which brought back childhood memories.

My cousin and I spent a week at holly's house. We made our day trips from there. All the sights were easily and quickly accessible by car from there. Whether in the north, south, east or west of Maine. We enjoyed spending our evenings in a fully equipped house. From check-in to check-out, everything was uncomplicated. We really enjoyed our time there.

We were a family multigenerational group. We all found the home extremely comfortable with lots of sunlight, beautifully designed use of space and tasteful decor. All ages 6 months to 72 years enjoyed the home! The hosts were responsive and helpful!

We loved every minute of our stay! The place was fantastic, and the hospitality was exceptional. Everything was clean, comfortable, and just as described. We would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend!

Great cabin! Remote and beautiful. Hot tub was lovely. James was communicative and his folks took care of snow plowing right away after a storm. Would definitely stay again.

Valle and David were the perfect hosts and we had an amazing stay. We also got to use the hot tub which was such a treat in the cold weather. Dave and Valle went above and beyond - from leaving little chocolates treats for us to enjoy upon check-in, to very thoughtfully offering to extend our stay for a few hours until the roads cleared out from a the overnight snow storm. Beautiful and cozy place and very responsive and accommodating host. Place is 30 mins drive from bar harbor and Acadia . The river down the house is an additional beauty in its own. The place had everything you need. The care the host took for arranging everything is really appreciated.

Delightful place to stay in Portlands West end. It is easy walking distance to everywhere…. downtown and even the East side. Great restaurants in the neighborhood from breakfast to dinner. The apartment was immaculate and was stocked with just about everything you’d need. The shared yard was charming and felt very private. We have family in the area and I hope we can stay there again and again. It was much more comfortable than a B & B. Lorie was very responsive to anything you might need.

Great apartment in a very walkable part of Portland, a perfect location for exploring the city. It was clean & spacious with a very comfortable bed and we appreciated the off-street parking. The owner Jeff and his wife are very friendly and served us a fantastic meal at their small brewpub downstairs. I normally wouldn’t choose a rental above a pub, but theirs closes at 9pm every night, so noise wasn’t an issue at all. Would highly recommended this unit for a stay in Portland.

The place was amazing, such a great find! The hosts laid out check-in and check-out instructions very clearly and offered an abundance of amenities to make our stay more enjoyable. They offered toiletries, tide pods, cooking spices, coffee, books- the list could really go on and on. It really felt like a home away from home! We loved staying at Heidi’s place! We were a little concerned about parking on the street (we had to bring two cars) and we were always able to find a space within a block or two (small blocks) so it worked out great. The place was cozy and comfortable. The bed was a little awkward getting in at first, but we quickly figured it out and it wasn’t problem. Great location and extremely walkable to fun shops and restaurants right on Mumjoy Hill or down along the bustling Washington Ave, an easy walk away. Heidi was responsive and friendly and used her “artists touch” to decorate a lovely place

I had an amazing stay! Rachael was a very responsive host, and was very helpful throughout my stay. The location was quiet but within driving distance of all the things I wanted to do, and it matched all my expectations based on the listing. If I’m ever back in the area, I would certainly love to stay here again!

Lori’s place felt like a home away from home. The apartment was bigger than we expected with beautiful furnishings and built-ins. The kitchen was amazingly well stocked making it easy to cook meals with ingredients from Pat’s Meat Market a block away. Noble Pizza is also not to be missed.

The cabin was beautiful and very clean. We had a regular wear and tear issue with one of the appliances but the issue was resolved quickly and the hosts went above and beyond to make the inconvenience right. Overall the stay was relaxing and well worth it. I would definitely return to this cabin.

Connor was an AMAZING host! From the very beginning, he was always very responsive, and was consistently available to answer my questions promptly. His cabin on the lake was so cozy, it truly felt like our home away from home. It was beautifully decorated, peaceful, serene, well-stocked with anything that one could need. His recommendations were extensive and were very much appreciated. We were celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary and really loved being able to stay there with friends for a few days before departing for another excursion. It gave us time to celebrate and make some great memories with them - something that we will always treasure! The worst thing about this cabin? - Having to leave it in the rearview mirror! Larry and Lisa were so nice and friendly! The property was cozy and peaceful and the perfect place to relax. Any questions we had, Larry was available to answer almost immediately. Loved seeing the deer at night too. Thank you for a great stay!

Could not have asked for a better experience. Although our trip was short, Christian made sure we had everything we would need to make the most of it! The location and the amenities of the cabin provided an incredible amount of relaxation!

We just loved this Airbnb and the wonderful location on the stream. You could fall asleep to the roaring stream, sip coffee and other beverages on the deck overlooking the stream. The cabin has a Maine woods decor- which we loved. Shawn was very responsive and had great recommendations. We plan to come back at some point

Our stay at Paul’s was exactly what we were looking for. A small quaint place for the two of us and our pups during a ski trip to Saddleback. The pups loved going out and running on the frozen lake for some exercise.

This was such a beautiful cabin to stay at and experience the best of Maine’s nature and culture. We also booked a dinner at The Quarry along with our stay, which was a delicious and thoughtfully curated. The cabin has everything needed, an incredibly cozy bed, and a beautiful surroundings with the forest and lake. We definitely plan to visit again!
