Great place with everything you need, peaceful area , very comfy beds, a few places to eat in the village but would not recommend the chippy. Overall a very clean comfortable stay and 2 lovely cats Thank you Sharon + mum

Beautiful and very clean property with use of outside space as well to relax and unwind, within a short walking distance of the village. The property was decorated and furnished well and was very comfortable and warm to be in. The kitchen had everything needed to cook simple meals and it was a lovely touch having the gin and breakfast foods ready for us when we arrived. Communication was excellent, Caroline has clearly thought carefully about everything and has a guide to the property available which was helpful too. I would definitely like to come back for another break in the tranquility of the garden studio.

Home away from home. I had the pleasure of staying here for 3 months when I first arrived in the UK together with my fiancee and our 10 month old daughter. Susie ensured we'd feel right at home from the beginning with all basic necessities provided. The fridge had some fresh food and juice in it, a thoughtful touch that just shows how much the host looks after her guests. The property itself is nestled in the beautiful countryside, offering peace and tranquility, yet it's just a 10-minute car or train ride to the malls and shopping centres in Basingstoke Susie is attentive without being intrusive, always making sure your stay is comfortable while keeping any disturbances to a minimum. The only minor downside is that the dining room doesn’t get much natural sunlight—but that’s a small detail in what was otherwise a truly wonderful stay. We have just returned from our second stay at The Stables, and it was just as wonderful as the first. This is our absolute favourite place to stay; it has everything we could need in the most beautiful surroundings. Our children (3 & 8 years old) love the garden, vineyard and chickens to explore and the size of the lodge is very generous indeed, both inside and out. As well as being so comfortable and high quality in every way, the lodge is so practical also; it has a fully equipped kitchen where we were able to cook full meals for our family of four each night. The lodge is very close to Paultons Park and Marwell Zoo, both amazing days out that we have enjoyed both times. Thomas and his family are the most kind and welcoming hosts you could hope for, and really make your stay feel very special. We will certainly be back! Our children love it here and are always made to feel so comfortable and carefree, it is the most wonderful place to make childhood memories.
