Guesthouse vacation rentals in Metropolitan City of Palermo

We absolutely loved our stay! The property was just as described and well equipped with everything we needed for myself, husband, a 5 year old and 3 month old. Very handy having the washing machine too! The hosts were lovely and always quick to respond to questions and offering help with anything if needed. Perfect location for us visiting family and having the beach close by, but also set back enough in a private secure location. Was also a great perk having a pool to use too. Overall a really comfortable, friendly place to stay, would definitely recommend. Made to feel very welcome and we throughly enjoyed our holiday ☺️

Hidden heaven, close to beach and cool strolls. We loved our stay here. Our hosts were gracious, helpful and have created a perfect oasis from which to enjoy Mondello, explore Palermo and chill by the pool. Spotless place, comfy bed, great setup. Even a book of local recommendations (we ate at several of her suggestions!). The beach is a 9 min walk thru safe neighborhoods, and maybe the #1 Beach we have ever been on - our version of perfect. We only had 3 nights here and wished we had stayed a week! Great hosts, wonderful home.

Nina e sua madre sono persone disponibilissime e di ampissime vedute, ricche di consigli e cordialità. E' un piacere avere un assaggio della concezione della vita di altre persone, specie quando si tratta di una terra così solare e vitale come la Sicilia. Il soggiorno nella dependance di una villa sul mare a Sferracavallo, immersi nella natura, con la compagnia di Argo e dei micini giovani diventa un'esperienza davvero incantevole. La casa è spartana ma funzionale. in base alla propria idea di agio è consigliabile per quattro persone, ma gli spazi sono leggermente ristretti, quindi ci si entra tutti ma adattandosi un poco. I punti forti sono la posizione diretta sugli scogli della baia di Sferracavallo e il posto auto dentro la casa, necessario specie in alta stagione! Si arriva a piedi al centro, per poter mangiare nei locali sul mare o trovare le migliori gelaterie un po' più all'interno. La posizione è ottima anche per Palermo, raggiungibile in pochissimo tempo, e anche per girare l'intera costa, perché la casa è situata all'imbocco dell'autostrada.

Es ist einfach paradiesisch. Wir haben dieses kleine Haus mitten in der Natur geliebt und uns vom ersten Moment an zuhause gefühlt. Deborah ist so wundervoll, warmherzig und kümmert sich immer ganz unkompliziert. Wir genossen die frischen Eier von den Hühnern und die Mandarinen direkt vom Baum aus dem üppigen Garten. Besonders viel Spaß hatten wir mit ihrem verspielten Hund Saskia, den wir auf unsre Spaziergänge mitnahmen. Das Haus liegt wunderbar ruhig und der Blick in die Hügel ist unbeschreiblich. Es gibt sehr nette Katzen, Esel und dann wurde sogar noch ein Fohlen geboren. A magical place.

I had a wonderful stay at Gae’s beautiful place. The space is comfortable and quiet, the surroundings incredibly beautiful, and Gaetana is a caring and responsive host. Her breakfasts were a true luxury!! A very special spot to stay, thank you Gae!

I can’t say enough good things. This was my first solo international trip, and there were several things I had not planned for - like a train strike the day I arrived. Francesco gave me recommendations for navigating public transport well in advance, che Jed in with me - never instructive or overbearing, but always nice to know I had someone for help. The property felt super safe - with a locked outer gate, the sweetest guard dog, another inner gate - and a door I could lock. I felt very comfortable and safe the whole time. Bagheria isn’t a huge city, but it’s still a city - all I could hear were birds, and sometimes people playing tennis, it was very peaceful. I got amazing sleep - maybe too good? Francesco, Giacomo and their family were welcome to be without being overbearing, and (I think) I was able to experience what it’s like to actually live in Bagheria. Very grateful.
