Cozy Dependance in front of the Sea

Nina and her mother are very helpful people with great views, full of advice and friendliness. It is a pleasure to have a taste of other people's life, especially when it comes to such a solar and vital land as Sicily. The stay in the outbuilding of a seaside villa in Sferracavallo surrounded by nature with the company of Argo and young kittens becomes a truly enchanting experience. The house is spartan but functional. Based on your idea of comfort, it's a good idea for four people, but the spaces are a little tight, so you all get in but adjusting a little. Highlights are the direct location on the rocks of Sferracavallo Bay and the parking space inside the house, needed especially in high season! You can walk to the center, so you can eat in the seaside or find the best ice cream shops a little more inside. The location is also great for Palermo, reachable in no time, and also to turn the entire coast, because the house is located at the entrance of the highway.

We originally wanted to stay in Cefalu but driving into the countryside and seeing Sicily in a completely different light was incredible. The serenity you feel on their land is palpable. It was lovely staying here, our little family of three felt right at home. Every part felt thoughtful. They provided wonderful local goodies that helped us get cozy right away (I’ll be dreaming of that ricotta cheese for a lifetime). Our little, nearly-two year old loved getting to meet all the animals! It was perfect.

The best location in Cefalù! If we return to Cefalù, we'd definitely stay here again. It's about a 20-25 minute walk into the centre of town and a 5 minute walk to the most beautiful beach that's 10x better than the one in the centre. Laura was a great host, really responsive and gave great recommendations. A few things to note: - There's a hill on the way into town and steep stairs on the way back. All manageable but good to be aware of. - Great supermarket in the centre but we did drive to it. We didn't find a store nearby but on the street was a very lovely cafe that we got breakfast and lunch from most days. - There quite a few mosquitos so bring protection spray. - The lovely beach is sunny in the morning but gets shadier in the afternoon so be sure to plan your day accordingly. - The amenities in the kitchen are quite basic but we had everything we needed for a short stay.

In the 110 sq. meter house, there are two showers outside, wood-burning oven, with attached kitchen, garden of about 500 sq. meters with garden and laundry. The interior rooms are all air-conditioned and the kitchen is masonry. The property is immersed in greenery, it is part of a residence and the beach is about 250 meters away. Only 7 km away you can visit the famous and touristy Arab-Norman town of Cefalù, 65 km. the city of Palermo, 150 km. Agrigento, Trapani/Erice/Marsala, 170 km away. Catania.

Small independent apartment made from the family cellar, 4 km from the nearest beach. To reach it, a car or a shake is essential. I would define the Spartan retreat, essential, colorful, clean, cheerful. Those who expected to find everything impeccable, new, branded, definitely change the listing. I don't recommend it to Airbnb users who may not have understood the difference between a private environment, a hotel, and a BnB. Thank you
