Lovely place to stay, very cosy inside, with a pool table for entertainment! Plenty of space for us (family of 5). Would be suitable for a large family visiting the area, or perhaps someone travelling for work but looking for something more private and comfortable than staying in a hotel.

Really nice place, clean and just as described. We have enjoyed our stay. Catherine was helpful upon any communication. We had a bbq in a garden which was lovely and the games room came in handy. The sitting area is a lovely sun trap. Fully equipped kitchen, lovely bedroom with comfortable beds, plenty bedding and towels. Thank you

I had a lovely stay at this flat. It was clean and well-maintained, with all the necessary amenities for a comfortable rental experience. The host was responsive, making the check-in process smooth.

I had an extended stay, around 6 weeks. From day one Alison and David were both really helpful and very friendly but were never intrusive. The accommodation is a listed building with lots of history so was a little quirky. This added to the overall positive experience. I also really enjoyed exploring the local beauty spots, particularly some great walks around the Yarrow Valley. I would definitely recommend the accommodation to any short stay travellers or longer term residents.

This was our first Air B&B experience so obviously we were a little nervous. We needn’t have been. Host was absolutely brilliant with any questions we had and the property was exactly as described and what we needed for our stay. It was tucked away in beautiful surroundings and I found a gorgeous walk/jogging route through the countryside with our viz. :) Despite there being a golf course right outside it was extremely scenic and quiet. It was perfect location for anywhere we needed to be with easy access to Wigan, Manchester and Liverpool. Everywhere we went during our stay was within around a 15 minute drive. 💯 would recommend this little hidden gem and stunning location. Thank you so much for letting us stay! This is definitely somewhere we would stay again in the future 🙏🏻🌟

It was a beautiful apartment precise although the check in time was late but it was beautiful once we got inside and we loved the apartment straight away. Grace was welcoming the environment was peaceful and calm there were shops close by. The Apartment was exactly as described.

The property was lovely and clean, we were provided with an information booklet which included nearby restaurants and shops, travel advice and much more! The location was perfect, only a quick 25 minute bus to the centre, and very safe and quiet area to stay. The room itself was very spacious with the bathroom having amazing toiletries to utilise, and the kitchen had everything we needed for our stay. Jacquie was lovely and communicated well making everthing very clear, with the check in/out, how to get there, and more. Would definitely stay again.

Me and my partner really enjoyed our stay here! It was a beautiful little summer house, lovely and clean. The hosts were extremely helpful, kind and gave us our space. Really recommend to anyone who’s staying in Manchester for a couple days.

Stables View exceeded my expectations. Spotlessly clean and spacious (more spacious than I expected from the photos), with beautiful views and private parking. After a long day at work and a couple of hours driving it was great to sit and relax on the balcony listening to the birds. Everything had been carefully thought out making it easy to turn up, settle in and relax. One of the best properties I have stayed in and I will definitely return if I am working in the area again. I had a lovely stay in The Studio which is tucked away and so peaceful. The Studio is small but perfectly formed, well thought out with everything you need for a comfortable stay. As a solo traveller on this trip it was great to feel secure too. Parking & check in easy. The Studio has lovely seating areas outside too overlooking the owner’s garden & field & woods beyond. Very peaceful and private apart from the visiting duck & her ducklings - an absolute treat to have them ‘’visit’ daily! I have previously stayed at Wendy’s place next door “Rustic” & recommend both places. I’ll look forward to staying again.

Lovely apartment next to the canal in peaceful block of flats. Close to the city centre. Comfy bed and clean apartment. Very responsive host. We wanted an extra day but she was already booked but let me know there was a cancellation so we were able to book the extra night. Would definitely stay again.

Lovely apartment, spotlessly clean throughout with lots of little touches to make you feel at home. Quiet, well-appointed, very fresh, light and airy. In an ideal spot for country drives out to Stockton Heath, Lymm and Altrincham, as well as being relatively close to the town centre, supermarkets, and with great links to the M6 and M62. David was very responsive to our messages, instructions were clear, and he was a great host both to deal with and in terms of the quality of our stay. Highly recommended.
