Great location, quiet and secluded, but only minutes to the store and pub . Comfortable beds, hot shower, well equiped kitchen, perfect for a week or so to get away. Stephen and Shirley were a delight, and the Christmas lighting was lovely.

My husband and I enjoyed a fabulous 2 night stay. The cottage is beautiful and has everything you need, very cosy, clean and comfortable with plenty of space for both of us. Lovely outside seating area through the bedroom patio doors where we could appreciate the beauty garden and wildlife. The bed was very comfortable and we had a great night sleep! Shower was spot on with instant hot water. Supermarkets (Lidl and Booths) are a short drive away and Deliveroo and Just Eat deliver so there’s lots of choice for take away in case you don’t want to make use of the fab kitchen set up. WiFi was fast and we had no issues with mobile phone signal. The hosts were truly 5 star! They were very helpful and friendly without being intrusive. They kindly let us charge our EV car which was a god send after a 5 1/2 hour drive. The hosts even went the extra mile by offering us a lift to Ormskirk train station so we could get to Aintree Race Course! Highly recommend a stay here! A**

When we arrived we were extremely pleased with the home, it was in pristine condition, clean, airy and the decor was beautifully tasteful. We loved the layout, especially of the dining room/ kitchen. Loved sitting on the sofa in the dining room and being able to look through into the garden in the mornings - therapeutic. The garden was really lovely and we would have made use of it in the evenings if the weather had been better. Jonathan and Tracey had left a small carton of milk in the fridge for us with an array of complimentary coffees/teas and hot chocolate with biscuits. They also left a welcome note on their chalk board - nice 😊 Upstairs was beautiful and clean also. Bathroom had decent quality toilet paper which is important. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms were comfortable and relaxing. We would definitely use this Airbnb home again if we were up this area. They responded promptly to any uncertainties regarding the cooker. No criticisms, perfect hosts!

A spotlessly clean cottage with a secure private garden and just around the corner from a couple of pubs and an Indian restaurant but still a very private location in this lovely village. Nothing to complain about and we felt very good value for money. We stayed for four nights and are very happy to recommend the cottage.
