Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Menlo Park

I cannot compliment this Airbnb enough. From all my stays in Airbnbs in Palo Alto this one was by far the best. The added bonus was a quiet street!

Weichuan & Meng are very kind, helpful and respond very quickly to any and all questions. The bed is very comfortable. The bed and bath linens are very nice and plentiful.

This is my second stay with Jessica and Florian. This two bedroom house with a sunroom and fenced in yard is my favorite place to stay in the area. It is clean and nicely decorated. The linens are very nice and they have taken care to make sure the beds are comfortable. I really appreciate that they welcome dogs. The kitchen is great and easy to cook in. Stayed here for three nights while on a work trip. Unit was very clean, spacious, and well furnished. Some construction noise in the morning but otherwise in a quiet area. About 5 min drive from downtown Redwood City. Thank you!

We had everything we needed and absolutely loved staying in this lovely neighborhood. It’s close to many restaurants and easy access to the freeway. We would definitely stay there again.

We had a fantastic stay at Anna’s place. The location is unbeatable—right at Stanford’s doorstep and just a short walk from the field where I could go for a run. The apartment is spacious and well-equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The furnishings are high-quality and thoughtfully chosen; I especially appreciated the soft cotton sheets, the comfortable bed, and the spacious deck for enjoying the outdoors. Anna was a wonderful host—responsive, helpful, and kind. This place is truly a gem!

We were almost sorry to stay for only two nights. The place is just about perfect, with an exceptionally well-equipped kitchen and any amenity you might need (possible exception is a/c, but it wasn’t very warm during our stay). The traffic died down at night , making it a quiet place to sleep. Particularly nice is the immediate proximity of the bay tail: perfect for a morning run or an evening stroll. Oriel was very proactive communicating, and we never had any uncertainty about anything. Highly recommended: we would stay there again anytime!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at an apartment in Santa Row, San Jose, and it was nothing short of fantastic! Strolling through Santa Row, you’ll find beautifully landscaped streets, making it a joy to explore on foot. The proximity of cafes, restaurants, and entertainment venues means you can easily grab a bite or enjoy a drink without needing to drive. This makes it particularly appealing for tourists and locals alike.

We had a fantastic time. The view was second to none, with easy access to the beach and restaurants. Kitchen was clean and had everything we needed. Great coffee shop within walking distance (albeit with a decent hill). We happened to stay when whales were just off the coast and saw them from the shore. Could not have asked for a better day. For those with mobility issues - you do need to climb about 10 narrow steps to get to the tram, which lets you skip the rest of the stairs. But there is no way around those first steps. Would absolutely come back.

Perfect place to stay in Alameda with young kids! Kimberly’s condo had a pack and play, highchair, and even toys for my young children to play with. The walk in closet was a great space to put the pack and play to add some separation for nap and overnight sleep. Would definitely stay here again.

We had a great stay. The home is lovely and the area is very walkable with lots of restaurants and shops accessible.
