House vacation rentals in Melides

We liked it very much. At the property, the gigantic pool in particular is a highlight as well as the quiet location in the nature with a view. The property and cottage is a bit outdated, but very authentic. You can reach many great beaches, cliff hiking trails, as well as the very beautiful fishing village of Sesimbra in a short time by car. We also took day trips to Lisbon and Sintra. Host Barbara was extremely helpful, friendly and straightforward. Thank you!

We had a lovely stay here despite dreadful weather! Ed was an amazing host, very fast at replying and great recommendations for restaurants which were all fab. House is in a lovely position and you feel very private once inside, its close to the rice paddy fields and you can walk to the beach which is a bonus. This is a lovely area with a beautiful beach but there is quite a bit of construction going on close by which is a shame. The noise didn't disturb us at all as it was up in the hills. The beach is quite wild but really lovely and has great restaurants & bars to watch the sunset. We wanted to surf but the waves wernt right here for our week but we found an amazing beach down the coast to surf so there are always options if you hire a car. Pedro and his crew have thought of everything. It really is like a private villa in a luxury resort with extremely attentive service and a house set up perfectly for comfort. The pool is heated and lit at night. There is banana tree next to it. You have a juicer and a pile of fresh oranges at checkin. The bigger of the three TVs is 85 inch. There is a ski light in one of the three bathrooms. The only problem is that it might be hard to go back to your own house after this stay.

We had a great stay here, it was perfect for our family vacation. The house is beautiful and very well taken care of, with spacious bedrooms, a large family room and well-equipped kitchen. The garden and pool were also lovely - private and quiet and a great place to hang out. The beach and train station were both a short walk, and Estoril is well-situated for trips to Lisbon and Cascais or to explore towns along the coast. Catarina was a fantastic host and Dona Gilda helped with anything we needed during the stay.

Wonderful house, with all the amenities, namely the kitchen. The photographs exactly depict the dwelling. Very quiet place and a minute walk from the main street of the village, where you can find pharmacy, mini-market, stationery and several restaurants. Very close to wonderful beaches! Francisco was super friendly and attentive to our questions. We had an immense desire to return to this house and to be able to enjoy the pool (because of the rain we could not)! It was a fantastic weekend, with the creation of excellent memories!

I really enjoyed my stay. Perfect location for a city break, and the house surrounded by greenery is lovely. I would love to keep this rental house secret and come back at anytime...but I have to share how good it was. Many thanks Paulo !

Very quiet corner lot, amazing views, very clean spacious. Fortunately the ice cream place is not next door as many say, it is down the street, those comments almost scared me away. Do not hesitate, I would repeat!

Susana is an excellent host, and as much as possible, quite flexible. We loved our stay, it was absolute rest. The farm has everything we need for a good stay without having to leave, so every day we stayed on the farm without leaving and enjoyed the facilities, peace and comfort. The whole house was quite clean, also with all the necessary utensils and appliances. D. Soraia was also excellent with us, very available and very friendly We absolutely recommend it and we plan to return. Thank you ☺️

Great location on the outskirts with views of nature, beautiful surroundings, nice place with several small supermarkets and a great bakery a few minutes from the property. The place itself is well equipped and very clean, the bed is very comfortable. We felt comfortable!

We recently moved to the area and needed an emergency stay. Having driven passed this property numerous times, we were delighted to hear it was available to rent. It is an absolute gem of a property. Great location to explore the Sintra Natural Park. Beautiful property with everything you need to an extended stay to explore the area. Wish we had more time to stay longer. Host is very responsive to any needs/questions we had. Would stay here again if ever back in the area.

We had an amazing week at Lina's place! From the start, Lina was a fantastic host - super responsive and friendly. She sent us a detailed guide with tips on where to eat and explore, and every spot we tried was great! The house is cosy and private (with its own little courtyard!), with a comfy bed, a well equipped kitchen, and a spotless bathroom - perfect for a relaxing stay. The location is ideal - just a 2 minute walk to the beach and right near the heart of town. We ended up spending more time there than planned because there’s so much to do - surf schools, bike rentals, yoga classes, and fantastic bars and restaurants. The whole vibe around the house is so chilled and relaxing. Lina went above and beyond to check in and make sure we had everything we needed. We’re so grateful for such a wonderful week and can't wait to come back!

My family and I truly enjoyed our stay at CASAVADIA II. It is a hidden gem in nature. I highly recommend it, and we will definitely return.

We had the most wonderful and relaxing stay at Ana Luisa’s. The house is super lovely with beautiful views. Flora was incredibly kind, always helpful, and responded so quickly to anything we needed. It’s a perfect place to unwind and escape the city - we didn’t want to leave!

The property was conveniently situated for restaurants and shops, a good selection of which were only a few minutes walk away. There was usually on street parking very close to the property and it was a quiet street - very little traffic noise at night. We were touring around so had a fairly large suitcase which we didn't attempt to carry up the spiral stairs, it may have been easy enough but it seemed easier to leave it downstairs.

We had a fantastic time at Herdade do Montum. The host was super responsive and easy to communicate with. The house is a little gem, very cosy and beautiful, and the surroundings are lovely, very green and quiet. We had both dinner and breakfast at the Herdade, and both were delicious. Highly recommend a stay here for a couple of days to recharge and enjoy a quiet holiday!
