House vacation rentals in Melides

We liked it very much. At the property, the gigantic pool in particular is a highlight as well as the quiet location in the nature with a view. The property and cottage is a bit outdated, but very authentic. You can reach many great beaches, cliff hiking trails, as well as the very beautiful fishing village of Sesimbra in a short time by car. We also took day trips to Lisbon and Sintra. Host Barbara was extremely helpful, friendly and straightforward. Thank you!

We had a lovely stay here despite dreadful weather! Ed was an amazing host, very fast at replying and great recommendations for restaurants which were all fab. House is in a lovely position and you feel very private once inside, its close to the rice paddy fields and you can walk to the beach which is a bonus. This is a lovely area with a beautiful beach but there is quite a bit of construction going on close by which is a shame. The noise didn't disturb us at all as it was up in the hills. The beach is quite wild but really lovely and has great restaurants & bars to watch the sunset. We wanted to surf but the waves wernt right here for our week but we found an amazing beach down the coast to surf so there are always options if you hire a car. Pedro and his crew have thought of everything. It really is like a private villa in a luxury resort with extremely attentive service and a house set up perfectly for comfort. The pool is heated and lit at night. There is banana tree next to it. You have a juicer and a pile of fresh oranges at checkin. The bigger of the three TVs is 85 inch. There is a ski light in one of the three bathrooms. The only problem is that it might be hard to go back to your own house after this stay.

We had a great stay here, it was perfect for our family vacation. The house is beautiful and very well taken care of, with spacious bedrooms, a large family room and well-equipped kitchen. The garden and pool were also lovely - private and quiet and a great place to hang out. The beach and train station were both a short walk, and Estoril is well-situated for trips to Lisbon and Cascais or to explore towns along the coast. Catarina was a fantastic host and Dona Gilda helped with anything we needed during the stay.

Booked this as a group of 21, the place was amazing and far exceeded my expectations. The hosts were extremely responsive, gave great recommendations and tips re the local area! We had the best time!!

Wonderful house, with all the amenities, namely the kitchen. The photographs exactly depict the dwelling. Very quiet place and a minute walk from the main street of the village, where you can find pharmacy, mini-market, stationery and several restaurants. Very close to wonderful beaches! Francisco was super friendly and attentive to our questions. We had an immense desire to return to this house and to be able to enjoy the pool (because of the rain we could not)! It was a fantastic weekend, with the creation of excellent memories!

I really enjoyed my stay. Perfect location for a city break, and the house surrounded by greenery is lovely. I would love to keep this rental house secret and come back at anytime...but I have to share how good it was. Many thanks Paulo !

A paradise in Palmela! The pictures do not do justice to the house, live the house is much more beautiful, very welcoming with a very tasteful decoration, the garden is huge and very well treated with various stitches to be seated to enjoy ( with a small pool we did not use due to time), the very well-equipped game room where the kids spent most of their time ( and me too😁). Finally ! There are hosts and then there are Neil and Heli , we were greeted with great sympathy, I feel very welcome, always wanting us to do nothing ,tireless , and very good people ! ( Receiving people well is also an art!). Let's go back for sure ! Very lucky for Neil and Heli because they deserve it!

Amazing costal views, a cosy interior and a quiet location only a short drove from several beautiful beaches. Daniel was a wonderful host - we would come back again!

Great location on the outskirts with views of nature, beautiful surroundings, nice place with several small supermarkets and a great bakery a few minutes from the property. The place itself is well equipped and very clean, the bed is very comfortable. We felt comfortable!

Amazing property and very helpful host

We recently moved to the area and needed an emergency stay. Having driven passed this property numerous times, we were delighted to hear it was available to rent. It is an absolute gem of a property. Márcio was a great host, The view of the apartment is wonderful. You look over Malveira da Serra and Cascais to the ocean. The apartment is cozy, very clean and equipped with all kinds of comforts. Great location to explore the Sintra Natural Park. Beautiful property with everything you need to an extended stay to explore the area. Wish we had more time to stay longer. Host is very responsive to any needs/questions we had. Would stay here again if ever back in the area.

We had an amazing week at Lina's place! From the start, Lina was a fantastic host - super responsive and friendly. She sent us a detailed guide with tips on where to eat and explore, and every spot we tried was great! The house is cosy and private (with its own little courtyard!), with a comfy bed, a well equipped kitchen, and a spotless bathroom - perfect for a relaxing stay. The location is ideal - just a 2 minute walk to the beach and right near the heart of town. We ended up spending more time there than planned because there’s so much to do - surf schools, bike rentals, yoga classes, and fantastic bars and restaurants. The whole vibe around the house is so chilled and relaxing. Lina went above and beyond to check in and make sure we had everything we needed. We’re so grateful for such a wonderful week and can't wait to come back!

My family and I truly enjoyed our stay at CASAVADIA II. It is a hidden gem in nature. I highly recommend it, and we will definitely return.

We had the most wonderful and relaxing stay at Ana Luisa’s. The house is super lovely with beautiful views. Flora was incredibly kind, always helpful, and responded so quickly to anything we needed. It’s a perfect place to unwind and escape the city - we didn’t want to leave!

We had a lovely stay. The house is very cosy and comfortable, even when the weather isn’t great—it’s a place where you immediately feel at home. The layout is smart, and everything you might need is there. The garden is a real bonus, and the location is perfect: close to beautiful beaches and charming small towns. Communication with the hosts was smooth and welcoming, and we were even able to check in much earlier than expected. Would definitely like to come back.
