Beachfront vacation rentals in Melicena

Beautiful and clean apartment in a quiet area (we were there in February) with unobstructed views of the mountains (the sea view was minimal). Good to know that the two terraces are both north-facing, so we had no sun at all in February (and that was quite a disappointment for me personally). In the summer that will be nice, I think. The kitchen was well equipped (though a washing machine, but no dishwasher), two large bedrooms and two bathrooms! The communication with Jonathan and Michael was excellent, they responded to questions right away.

Great accomodation, very clean and new. Cruz was extremly helpful wirh everything and even got us a babychair. The flat has everything you need, even beachtowels and umbrellas. I can highly recommend the apartment!

Wonderful stay in the Grey House. the hosts couldn't do enough for us and the location was perfect for eating drinking and excursions. pool was a nice place to cool off and prepare for the day. if you are considering renting you will not be disappointed! we will be back

Great apartment and convenient for everything.

We stayed in this lovely apartment for nearly a month. It was home away from home and had everything we needed for a long term stay, namely a dishwasher and washing machine. We picked it predominantly for its location and beautiful garden as we were travelling with our dogs. From the garden you have a beautiful sea view and stunning sunrises. The beach and marina are a short walk. The property is spacious and comfortable having two bathrooms. Natalia is very responsive to any queries raised. Parking was easy and being winter it was lovely and quiet. We hope to return again next winter.

We stayed at Susana's beautiful house for a week and had a great time in La Herradura. We highly recommend the place.

Very happy with our stay. Monica was great at communicating and answered any questions very quickly. Pool was awesome. Only 1 small downside - air conditioning unit outside main bedroom was a bit noisy. Coffee machine and pool were great! Also some floats for the sea were handy! We would definitely come back. Fantastic located apartment with beautiful views over the sea. Bright and light with very comfortable beds and two bathrooms with great showers. Lounge has big glass patio doors so even if the weather isn’t good you still had beautiful views. Balcony was a great addition with a table and chairs and two loungers. Parking was very easy directly in front of the building on the beach. We visited in April and it had a lovely atmosphere without being too busy. Lots of restaurants and cafes nearby which were popular and well priced. 15 mins to Nerja where we visited the caves and town.

Key features: Several outdoor seating areas are wonderful. Sea view In morning and afternoon sun Few min walk to beach 10 min walk to center/balcony D’Europe Lynn thought of himself with flexible check-in and check-out time, great! In February, free parking near the apartment Nice shower, two separate shower rooms. Less: For us fine, but if you have difficulty walking, this apartment is just handy due to a lot of stairs inside. Ditto for the couches and chairs. Low plof sofas and only chairs with fixed armrest and fixed backrest. My 79-year-old mother didn't like them. No problem for ourselves. Kitchen equipment could be a little more convenient :) There were a lot of plates, but no breakfast bowls. Plenty of cutlery and cups. One frying pan is not suitable for induction and we tightened the handles of the other pans ourselves. They were loose. Only 1 tea towel and 1 kitchen towel, is a little.

Since I made the reservation I was attended and bian informed of the different details. David's kindness was always manifested. the place was nice, quiet ones called attention to the friendliness of the people. The restaurant with good service and quality of the dishes. Adding that the owner of the restaurant gave us his solidarity to help us if anything needed and did so at the time, showing great kindness for the neighbor. Thank you.Marta.

Gorgeous stay at Josè’s place. Everything was lovely and clean. Loved the whole vibe of the place, it was beautifully decorated with lots of nice touches for us during our stay. A couple of minutes walk to a couple of cafes, a one minute walk to the beach or a 15 minute walk upto Torrox Costa. A lovely stay, will definitely recommend.

This was our first time spending a month abroad. It took a long time to find the 'right' property for our stay. We wanted something that had a welcome homely feel as well as a great location and Erlend's place was perfect! The apartment was wonderful. So many thoughtful touches and everything you could need was there. We loved the outside spaces but didn't get to use them as much as we would've liked due to bad weather. On warm sunny days, the terrace would be a perfect place to sit. The views from the apartment were lovely. We found the location to be perfect for us. Plenty of places to eat within walking distance and the lovely promenade by the sea. I have lung issues & yet managed the hill up to the accommodation every day. The lifts in the complex were very welcome. Erlend also very kindly accommodated a specific request I had & I was very grateful for that. Communication with our host was great Erlend's place felt like a home from home & we would love to come back again soon.

The house in La Herradura is excellent, well-equipped and just as described, with everything you need for the beach and games for children. The host was very friendly and always available. Although it does not have air conditioning, in September we were comfortable with the fans. Overall, a 5-star stay, highly recommended!

We had a wonderfull stay at Maggies beautiful house near the beach with our parents and 2 year old. The house is well equipped with a beautiful view on walking distance to the beach. I can recommend this place.

Amazing views the best we’ve ever experienced from any apartment… !! Really helpful host, Charis is responsive and gave us a great welcome - We spent a month at the apartment, it is well equipped.. with wonderful outdoor furniture - The weather was superb with an morning sunrise and the warm hot sun lighting up the sea scape on the balcony until 2.30pm. We then dropped down to the best sandy beach in La herradura which is just below the apartment, the sea was warm enough to swim in February (like a summers day in the UK) … it was fantastic !!

The apartment was perfectly as described. Amazing location with the cutest little towns nearby. We can’t wait to go back.

We have 12 days in the Apartment and were delighted! The apartment is very nicely decorated and we felt very comfortable. The outdoor area is much larger than it can be seen in the photos. You can look out to the sea from the terrace and enjoy the sunrise! We really enjoyed everything very much and we will definitely come back again!

Lovely apartment which matched the photos. Nice and comfortable with a lot of space. We were out of season so pool closed . Small walk to a dark sand beach with a couple of restaurants. A car is needed to reach supermarket as no shops nearby. A nice quiet stay for us after a 10 day road trip. Thanks

Everything is great and the sea views spectacular.

Very nice fresh location. Very spacious and bright, good air conditioning. We especially liked the adjacent terrace and the roof terrace. Also equipped with all comforts: sun loungers, BBQ, umbrella itself, an air mattress and an inflatable tyre for the sea. Swimming pool is also cared for and within walking distance of the beach. Torrox Plage is not too touristy, especially many Spanish tourists, because it makes it authentic. In short: recommended!

From the start excellent communication, The location of the apartment is excellent…. Beaches to the left, the heart of Nerja to the right, both in easy walking distance! Could not ask for a more central apartment for all the amenities that Nerja has to offer. Lorraine was in constant contact even to the point of letting us know about an up and coming power cut and the times that it would happen, Would highly recommend and would use the apartment again !
