Mekong Delta, off the beaten track

Our stay in the Mekong Delta was a real highlight and absolutely authentic. In the three days we only met other tourists once – here you can experience the original life on the island. Cooking together with the mother of the family was particularly nice: It was not only fun, but we also learned a lot about the local cuisine. The trip to the local markets was a great experience. The island itself invites you to cycle and walk, everywhere you meet friendly locals who welcomed us warmly. If you are looking for peace, nature and real contact with the country and people, this is the place to be. We would come back anytime!

Very friendly and spoke very good English check in was a piece of piss (really easy) and and very helpful , set up a Barbie (barbecue) on the deck so we could cook up some fish ,prawns and veggies that we got fresh from the local market with few cold ones ( beers) location was sick ( very good ) right on the river and a short stroll into town, highly recommend this place

My house is located near Thu Dau Mot City, near the Phu Cuong Bridge, which is very convenient to go to Binh Duong New City or to the districts of Ho Chi Minh City. A flower artists' home which is in the middle of rice field, yet is only 15mins to the Lover's house and 12mins drive to the flower village. We will pick you up by boat from 'Cầu Ông Hộ' (Ông Hộ bridge), Sa Đéc city. Contact us to have detail information how to get there. Back to the main focus, it takes about 15 mins to our 'mansion' :), the boat ride is very enjoyable, however if you are a first timer in the tropical land, let us know before hand, we can bring sunblock or umbrella for you.

This place is so great all around !!! Walking distance to both front and back beach my wife and I stayed here for 2 weeks and walked everywhere including the lighthouse and the statue of Jesus on the hill (still only about an hours walk which for us is no problem) the gardens in the house are beautiful and the soaking tub is nice for after a long day of hiking. Most of all the host and her husband were so nice and welcoming to us and made us feel at home in a country where we can’t speak the language. She always made sure we had fresh towels water bottles and went above and beyond to make sure we had a great stay definitely recommend this place !!

Vuon Nha Ngoai is a truly delightful place to connect with nature, surrounded by various fruit trees and a countryside ambiance, despite being just 30km from the city center. If you visit during the fruit season, you might have the chance, with the host's approval, to handpick some ripe fruits grown naturally without pesticides. I'm looking forward to returning to this spot for sure.

We loved everything. It was our first stop in Cambodia and we were overwhelmed by the hospitality. Theary and her family and also the gardener/house technician are all super warm people and helped us with everything we needed. We were able to borrow kayaks for free and explore the river. There is direct access to the river from the property. Theary has a café in front of the property where you can get very good coffee. The views of the river and the railway bridge were beautiful. The place was spacious and clean. If we're back in Kampot, we'll be happy to go back there. Thanks for everything ❤️
