We were comfortable, everything was as it appeared in the ad. Santiago was very helpful at all times, a great host.

We were absolutely wowed by this beautiful villa. Tania greeted us in our arrival and showed us round - she was super helpful despite our lack of Spanish! Tania was on hand to help with any questions we had. The villa is well equipped and had everything we needed and more. Perfect for a family stay where we cooked and played games. The pool, pool-house and garden were fantastic and we enjoyed the sunshine. Lovely views of the hills and cows in the distance. The villa was absolutely spotless. The villa is a fairly rural location and a car would be beneficial (as Tania describes in the listing). However, we enjoyed the 20 minute walk to Lidl and taxis were available into the city. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ *Perfect stay in a dream setting* The cottage is simply beautiful: cozy, comfortable and tastefully decorated. Everything is taken care of in detail and you can see the care with which it is designed to make guests feel at home. The setting is even more special: a charming town in Cantabria, with an idyllic landscape that invites you to disconnect, breathe fresh air and enjoy the silence. We also want to highlight David, the host, for his closeness, kindness and availability at all times. It's really nice to meet people like this when you travel. It's been a wonderful stay. 12 of us stayed with Mari Luz and had a great time. Everyone was comfortable and felt at home for the 4 nights we were there. At first I was worried that we might disturb Mari Luz but we didn't receive any complaints despite 1 or 2 late nights drinking around the dinner table. Also I'm extremely glad we stayed in Castro Urdiales instead of Bilbao since Castro was a much more relaxing and hospitable place and Bilbao was only a 30 min bus away anyway.

We had a great stay, the house was very clean and Jose was such a lovely guy. He was always contactable. He gave us lots of recommendations on things to do and places to visit which we did and throughly enjoyed them all. The pool was beautiful and our kids really enjoyed it. Check in and out was flexible which was excellent.

Truly magical house, with furniture and fixtures that connect with the mansion spirit. Very well maintained garden and wonderful activities to do around, as well as plenty of space to rest and play back home.

It is a beautiful, newly restored old house, very spacious and clean. The rooms are very spacious, all with a bathroom. The beds are large and very comfortable. We had a very nice weekend. Communication with the owners was very fluid, and they were attentive to our needs. The area is beautiful, next to the Vadegovía Natural Park, it is a very nice place to spend a quiet weekend surrounded by nature and very nice rural villages. We really enjoyed it and would love to repeat.

The house is wonderful. Located in a very quiet area where you can rest. With nearby supermarkets, beach and mountain just a stone's throw away. A playground just few meters from the house... The house itself with its lawn area and its terrace where to spend good ratos de chat. Clean and spacious rooms. Fully equipped kitchen. Comfortable beds... even have some other toy for the little ones. The fully flexible check-in time and Ainhoa always pending and with excellent communication. We stayed for a weekend but I would definitely come back here without a doubt. The other couple who accompanied us think the same. We truly felt right at home. Finding places like this is a real taste. Thank you for everything, Ainhoa! We'll be back!

Carmens place is such a hidden gem - it’s so beautiful and peaceful - spacious and well appointed. It’s close to some gorgeous quiet beaches, cliff top walks and authentic local bars and restaurants. If you’re looking for a relaxing get away that’s close enough to Santander to enjoy its bustling restaurants etc - look no further. Both Carmen and Sergio were incredibly helpful as well. I’ll be visiting again!

We had an amazing time! Thanks a lot for the owners that guided us to the house to show the route, brought us local cakes and were very helpful with the suggestions of places to visit. Consuelo is fantastic, pending, friendly, communicative and notice that the accommodation is part of its history. The place is in perfect condition, it's what you see, even more. Quiet, safe area. Very close to Cabárceno Park. A place to come back if you want to disconnect, with all the amenities of your usual home. With easy parking.

The stay was terrific. Met expectations more than 100%. What we have experienced as very pleasant is the personal contact with Mari, our hostess. The contact with her was friendly, helpful and welcoming. When we left, Mari came to say goodbye to us in person. The space was clean, spacious and equipped with every comfort. In the bedroom, a bed of 2.00 m wide. Public transport is very close and takes you to the center of Santander. Something we also like. You then need to look for a parking space in the city center. We therefore highly recommend it for people who want to visit the area and Santander.

We spent the weekend at Andreea's house and it couldn't have been better!! We were a group of 12 friends celebrating 30 and the place is spectacular. Both the house, which is just as it appears in the pictures, even more beautiful! Like the area where it is located, it is wonderful. In the middle of nature, with many beautiful routes to do and water activities on the lake as well. Although when we went the season was not open yet, but there is that possibility. And Andreea couldn't have been nicer! He was available all the time, and gave us a lot of recommendations. She greeted us and showed us the whole house and was available and helpful at all times. We fell in love with this place! Hope to return soon!!

Fantastic location overlooking the river through the trees. Had the double doors open each day to let the sounds of people and the breeze blow in. Very central location, yet facing away from the busy area and felt very relaxing and peaceful. Would stay here again!

Magnificent host from start to finish. Attentive to needs, with its own initiative indicating trails for hiking in the area... He even left us a couple of gifts! About the house little to add, in the description and photos you see how good a place it is. Equipped with everything we needed. Tidy and clean. I wish to repeat your stay!

An ideal place to stay with children! We had a great time despite the bad weather... a pity since we could not enjoy the garden, but luckily the penthouse was full of toys to make up for it! We were very comfortable and the rooms were very nice.

The place, for a family with two children is fabulous. The views are incredible, and the urbanization is quiet and charming. From the terrace you can see the University of Comillas or Oyambre beach. You are next to the sequoias park and the A8 so you can move to other areas. The place is decorated simple, very comfortable and pleasant. Very well equipped. It's a place to repeat! We had a great time. The txoko has everything you need and is the perfect place to eat. The kids really enjoyed the garden. It's a quiet area, perfect for families.

A very nice and comfortable house for a small family. We were very comfortable for three days, the house has the essentials so you don't miss anything in your stay. It is in a quiet area, you have to move about 8 min for super and places to eat. The house shares part of the jardin, but it has a trocito vallado por sias carry chuchos. In general I would recommend the stay if you want to move around the area, Cabarceno and Santander are about 20 min away.

Such a beautiful place! The property is just like in the photos — cozy and exactly as described. If you're looking to get away from the city, breathe in fresh mountain air, and enjoy peaceful nature and amazing views, this is the spot.
