Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Meares Island

We loved our stay in Kristen's place - good proximity to the grocery store & restaurants, and close to the lighthouse loop. Easy to find and private, the glass doors that someone else mentioned being a downfall were not an issue for us (and because of them we got to see some deer!). The hot tub was a little hard to find because our first time we went looking in the dark (it's in the deck, with a cover with wood the same colour as the deck itself), but Kristen clarified and the next day we found it and enjoyed having access to it.

We had a wonderful time at the treehouse & have already recommended it to others. We loved the atmosphere, so peaceful and relaxing. We loved the wrap around porch with the fire pit and the shower room was incredible. The only two things I would note are 1) The laundry room for the property, including other units, is along the side of the treehouse. There was no noise issues, however it does take away slightly from the overall privacy. 2) The loft stairs are steep and slippery. They could use some grip for safety. And just be mindful of the last step at the top of the loft stairs going up from the living room, just before the landing, as the gap is bigger than the other steps. It can throw you off as you’re going up or coming down. Overall we loved our stay and its location. We were able to walk to the public beach access point.

My partner and I stayed here with three teens. I can attest that the Photos don’t do it justice. This is a classic tofitian style abode with the right amenities. A highlight for us is that it was in a Perfect walkable location, close to all beaches and near the brewery.. The one word I’d use to describe this space is ‘cozy’. This is a cute, quirky cabin set up for a comfortable stay with friends and family.

We would absolutely stay at Kevin’s again. Very comfortably fit 5 adults and a dog. Everything was very clean and tidy including the hot tub. Although our weekend was very wet, we felt relaxed with the comfort of our home away from home! There are plenty of games to choose from, it’s a short drive to town and close by restaurants and the local brewery. We didn’t get to enjoy the sunrise due to the weather but the view is gorgeous and peaceful despite that. We loved the open concept especially the spacious and equipped kitchen, which made cooking very easy and enjoyable. Decent beds too! These pictures don’t do the place justice!!! 10/10 would recommend. Thanks Kevin.

What a beautiful house in such a peaceful and magical setting. This place has everything to be comfortable, with plenty of space for our family of 5 and a fully stocked kitchen. It’s really the best place we’ve ever stayed. We loved the short walk to roam the beach every morning, usually with a stop for coffee and breakfast at the Beach Shack. Dawn and Asia were excellent hosts. We will definitely be back.

The house is immense but also cozy at the same time. It’s private but also very close to shops, restaurants, and beaches. It’s very modern but still embodies the Pacific Northwest. It has all the luxuries of a resort but large enough to host 1 or two families. Thanks for the awesome experience.

We had a fantastic stay at Dane’s place! The cozy wood-finished interiors and large windows provided a warm atmosphere and stunning views of the surrounding nature. The kitchen was well-equipped, and the spacious living room was perfect for relaxing together. The hot tub overlooking the water was a highlight, offering a peaceful spot to unwind and enjoy the scenery. Overall, it was a serene and private retreat, and we highly recommend it for anyone seeking comfort and natural beauty.

My family and I had an amazing stay at this Airbnb! The place was spotless, incredibly quiet, and had top-notch amenities that made our visit even more enjoyable. The location was perfect—close to Tofino and just a short drive to beautiful nearby beaches. It was the ideal spot for both relaxation and exploring the area. The host was fantastic—very attentive and responsive, ensuring everything was perfect throughout our stay. We would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful and comfortable getaway. We can’t wait to come back!

Great cottage style accommodation! Easy to find and quiet location. Everything I needed for my 2 night stay in Tofino. Everything was well appointed if you need to do a bit of cooking, surf shower, cozy electric fireplace and comfortable bed. I would recommend Harold and Melody's listing for a couple or single person that didn't mind not being on the ocean. It's close to beaches, eateries and biking and walking path. Highly recommend!

I had a great and peaceful stay—very quiet and relaxing. The only downside is that the unit doesn’t have a shower. While this is mentioned in the description, it’s a bit unusual and easy to miss, as you have to sift through the details to find it. I feel like this place would be absolutely perfect with a small renovation to add a shower-tub combo. Just something to be aware of when booking. Otherwise, everything else was lovely!

100% recommend if you’re looking for a quiet, relaxing getaway. We braved the hot tub during the torrential downpour and we didn’t regret it one bit. The shower is a little short if you’re over 6 ft, but otherwise, we have no complaints!

Private, well equipped space. Nestled in the trees. A couple other rental units nearby, each quite private. Compact unit, with living room and kitchen downstairs, bedroom and bathroom upstairs. Beautiful bedding, towels, and all the basic kitchen supplies. Well built, solid and attractive accommodations. Kat was a great host. I would recommend it.

Morgan and Dre were amazing hosts and their place is Amazing, words can’t explain it. Its a must visit if you like connecting to nature and like a peace quiet vacation.

Ian’s Forest Hideaway is aptly named. It is quiet with easy parking. As two young women, we felt safe because the Hideaway is adjacent to the owner’s property but it still feels private! We were able to check in early and check out whenever we wanted! Ian was super responsive and when we noticed the propane tank running low, he provided a new one immediately. The hot tub was luxurious, the space clean and modern. We made s’mores at the fire pit. We wished it was our house!! We would definitely stay again and would highly recommend.

I took my kids up for a few days over spring break. We enjoyed the views and relaxing space. Bear Coast Cabin was clean and had everything we needed. We would go back in a heartbeat. Thanks so much for having us!

Had a wonderful stay @ Vanessa and Matt’s. The hosts had great knowledge of food and activities ideas. Super easy communication through this site. Responded instantly to questions but also let us be if need be. We have 2 golden retrievers and place was perfect for pet travellers. Even had a pup pup basket waiting for us. Everything is close by so no not of driving needed. Great fire pit and used the hot tub lots. Is this high end accommodation? No, but for the price and being pet friendly it’s definitely worth a stay.

This an absolute hidden gem. The peace and quiet of mussel beach is unmatched. The cabin was lovely and fully equipped. We enjoyed cooking and eating by the sea! It was super easy to get to and we did it without a 4x4! We felt very at home and relaxed!

This accommodation was exactly as advertised. Perfect location very close to Chesterman Beach. The private cabin is bright, clean and spacious. Beds were very comfortable. All amenities you could possibly need. Cabin is situated in a private wooded setting. Lovely. Would definitely like to stay again when I return to Tofino. Highly recommend

Leanne’s place is a little slice of heaven! If we’re ever so lucky to find ourself back in Ukee it be the first place we check for. The sauna, fireplace, tub, and ocean are just perfect. The kitchen has everything you need for a night in. The property is just amazing.
