It was such a handy location in the middle of town for all you need. The house was really cosy and welcoming with all the facilities we needed. The bed on the top floor was really comfy. The extra touches were appreciated and we loved the cosy decor. It was nice there were good books and games too. The communication from the host was superb. Thanks for a lovely Xmas stay!

We had a great stay at Irina's apartment. We arrived by train and it was easy to walk to the apartment. It is in a central location with easy access to nearby attractions like Kendal Castle. It was easy to catch buses to Ambleside and Grasmere for hiking and touristic excursions. We would definitely recommend Irina's place for a trip to the lake district.

I stayed here with my partner, 2.5 y/o ans 8 m/o and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway in the Lakes. Lesley greeted us as we arrived to the most beautiful setting, the Airbnb was spotless everything felt lovely and clean. It had everything we needed as well as recommendations for where to walk or eat. They even helped us when we found a tick on my daughter’s chest which we got sorted. The location is perfect to explore the Lakes from whilst being outside of a town so that you really get the peace and quiet we wanted. We will definitely be going back.
