Approximately, 2 1/2 miles from the historic Arcata Plaza where you will find excellent local restaurants, a variety of grocery stores, movie theater, live entertainment and farmers market every Saturday morning. Arcata community forest and Cal Poly Humboldt is an easy five-minute drive. A short ten-minute drive west through the scenic pasture lands of the Arcata bottoms you will arrive at the Mad River beach.

On the Hammond Coastal Trail, cozy Bedroom Suite with Private Entry, Expanded Kitchenette, Full Bath, Deck, Yard, Off-Street Parking. Set back hidden from the street in bamboo groves, it’s private and peaceful. Walk or Bike to nearby river, beaches, forest. Or hop on the Highway 1/3 mile away. 3.5 miles to Airport, 30 to Redwood National & State Parks. We’ll share walls so you’ll sometimes hear me, though I try to be a considerate neighbor. Your comfort is very important to me!

Excellent location with views of the redwood forest. Our bungalow is fully equipped. Come home with your farmer's market bounty and make use of the well-stocked kitchen or balcony grill. Get cozy in the living room at the push of a button with the gas fireplace and Smart TV. Sleep soundly on either the king or queen-sized bed. If you have extra people I can provide an air mattress. Walk from your door to Cal Poly Humboldt, the Arcata Plaza, and Shay Park. A wonderful home base.

The sanctuary is a 1 bedroom 1 bathroom guest house with a full kitchen and bathroom. We are located within a 5 minute drive to the beach, and 30 minutes away from Redwood State and National Parks. Perfect launch location for hiking, surfing, cycling and enjoying this amazing place. Enjoy our beautiful quiet space for relaxation and renewal.
