Vacation rentals with beach access in McHenry County

This place had everything we needed and more for our stay. Host was wonderful, highly recommend.

Jackie was an amazing host!! She was so responsive and so accommodating! We felt right at home and loved the use of the golf cart for our girls weekend!!

This is our second time staying here, and we enjoyed it just as much as the first time. Great location for getting to the fishing docks and restaurants. We will definitely stay here again

Perfect place for a girls weekend getaway! We loved how everything was in walking distance and we could easily come and go as we were shopping around Lake Geneva to drop off our goodies. The big kitchen table was amazing for sharing meals, playing games and just sitting around enjoy some great chats! Highly recommend Bill's place for your next stay in downtown Lake Geneva!

The apartment had everything we needed. It was walkable to restaurants, had everything we needed to cook, had a very thorough binder with local suggestions. The apartment was cute and comfortable. Two things stood out to me that are very important when I stay at an air Bnb - it didn’t smell like fragrances or chemicals and the beds (and couch) were comfortable. After checking out I thought I had left something in the apartment and sharon was very responsive and helpful.

Steve and his wife were extremely hospitable. The place is clean with nice decor. Plenty of space and the linens and bedding were fantastic. They thought of every little thing and the amenities they provided really went above and beyond. My husband, 16 month old, daughter and I felt right at home! Also, you can’t beat the downtown location! Can walk to literally everything downtown Lake Geneva has to offer!

We really enjoyed Jon Charles’ place. We were visiting Carthage College and it is a short drive to campus. It is a great location downtown. I’d certainly recommend it to anyone visiting the Kenosha area. It is exactly like the pictures, was very clean and well stocked. The host is very friendly and very responsive. Parking on the street was no problem and easy, even on busy Saturday evening. I would certainly stay at Jon Charles’ place again.

If you’re looking for a quiet place to reground yourself with nature, this is it. My kids slept amazingly in the cozy beds and had so much fun playing in the hayloft. We learned a lot about farm life and snuggled all the animals. Bente is the most hospitable host I’ve met and the kind of calm and nurturing we needed. From milking the cow, hiking the sheep trails, playing with kittens and loving on Heidi the farm dog, there was plenty to do and we felt like part of the family. The kids even got to cook with one of the farmwise school groups! We will absolutely be back soon.

What a great experience!! So please with the ease of the stay, the quality of the interior and the communication! Brent was great to work with and was extremely prompt with all of our needs and questions! We will return!

We fell in love with the river front. I left wanting to have more time down at the lounge chairs. Enjoyed having a campfire! It was close to both of my sisters in Crystal Lake! My sister wants to buy the cabin! lol Thank you for a wonderful vacation!!

Enjoyed our stay at this restful and peaceful place. My wife and I also used this as a chance to finish walking around Lake Geneva. We love coming to this area in the fall.

Place was absolutely beautiful and clean beds were so clean comfortable. Kitchen was supplied with many amenities that you would need it was a very nice place the only thing we ran out of toilet paper there was only one in each bathroom and we couldn’t find

Pictures didn’t do this place justice, clean and very well furnished. Kitchen fully stocked as if they live there full time. High end utensils and kitchenware. Very cozy, well lit during the day, several spots to hang out indoors and outside with lots of entertainment options indoors, lots of room to roam outside and a fire pit . Sandra responds instantly, she’s very far from you so you have privacy but always available to come by if you needed anything. Sandra invited my daughter to help her groom the horse and that made her day. Would visit again for sure, and perhaps in the winter if available. The fireplace beckons. There’s an XL size griddle outside which I was allowed to use. She’s offering you all she has, so treat it with care and respect and clean after yourself so that we can all enjoy her place. What a beautiful space! Squeaky clean. Great layout. 2 outdoor seating areas . Perfect relaxation! I’ve found my home away from home when I need to run away from home!

Joan's daughter, Rebekah, communicated directly with me through the Airbnb app. She provided detailed check-in instructions, a phone number to contact her, etc. It seems Rebekah lives in Hawaii so please keep note of that for response times, etc. The house was comfortable, very clean, and well-appointed. Joan and Rebekah have a beautiful collection of original art, artifacts, etc. so please keep that in mind if you are bringing small children to the home. Please note that the 1st floor bedroom has a king bed and full bathroom; and the lower level has 2 twin beds in the open area, 1 full bed and 1 twin bed in the first bedroom, and 1 full bed and 1 futon in the second bedroom (including a full laundry and utility room in a closed room).

Beautiful spacious condo on the harbor. Everything provided. Beds were comfortable . Pricey, but a nice getaway close to Chicago. Kristy answered right away when called or texted with questions. We enjoyed our stay immensely! One caveat…there is a pod coffeemaker, but no coffee is provided. We didn’t bring any coffee, as most air b and b’s provide it in our experience, so bring some if you are a coffee drinker…just FYI.

Great place and great host! The location can’t be beat and the unit was exactly as described. Clean and comfortable. Would come back again!

Nicholas's place was an incredible find for us. It was our first time in Lake Geneva, and he provided excellent recommendations that we used throughout the weekend. The walkability was unbeatable, and could not imagine staying elsewhere moving forward. The quirky decor in the suite made us feel like we were in a movie, and the description was exactly accurate. Check in could not have been easier and he even allowed us to check in a little bit early with short notice from us. Could not recommend this place more!

Very quiet and tranquil location for our extended weekend trip! Close enough to explore Lake Geneva and many more area favorites. We were able to walk to The Ridge Hotel where they had restaurants and live music on the weekend.

This place was absolutely perfect for a wedding in the area. It’s close to the action and the breakfast at Abbey Springs was delicious. Beds are comfy, couches are even comfier, and the screened porch allowed for peaceful vibes on an early fall weekend. Nancy and Fred’s accommodations were perfect and I can’t thank them enough!
