Susan's place was so comfortable and peaceful. She is so kind and considerate, was always available to answer any questions that we had. We arrived, driving 13 hours, there were wonderful pastries and fruit awaiting in the kitchen area. The coffee was outstanding as well. Susan was so accommadating! Kate & Jim

My family and I had such a fun time here for a week visiting family for Easter break. We’re from the city and we loved mchenry and how it was close to so many shops for breakfast, dinner. Ice cream, laundry etc. We were also very close to family and church. Lovely neighborhood with a park across the street. Plenty of room in the apt for my kiddos to run around. I particularly loved that the floors and doors weren’t squeaky and made noise. This is our bi-yearly place from now on.

Brent’s place was much more comfortable than a hotel. It was conveniently located for us to visit family in the area. I would stay again and recommend.

We absolutely loved our stay! The location was perfect — super close to great restaurants and everything we needed. The kids had a blast with the arcade games like Pac-Man and others — such a fun bonus! Honestly, the pictures didn’t even come close to showing how amazing the kitchen was. It was much bigger than we thought and hands down the most well-stocked kitchen we’ve ever had in an Airbnb! The stairs are a little steep, but they do have that clearly noted in the listing. Plus, there’s a locking door at the bottom, which made us feel completely at ease with our young kids. We didn’t end up using the upstairs, but it looked very spacious and would be perfect for a bigger group. Christina, the host’s assistant, was fantastic — so friendly and checked in with us to make sure we had everything we needed. We truly had the best time and would 100% love to stay here again in the future.

Great location with nice water views and a little town area for eats and drinks nearby. Area feels safe. We walked around to the other side of the water from the house. The layout was a little awkward at first, going through one bedroom to get to the bathroom and other bedroom. Farther bedroom can exit directly into main entry of building. Once we got our head around it, it worked out just fine. The beds and bedding are comfortable with a nice sitting area with a view. Kitchen is well appointed. Hosts are fantastic!

I had an incredible stay at Wanda's house! From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warmth and hospitality. The home was exactly as described, even better in person—spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, and equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The location was perfect for the wedding we were attending that weekend. I especially loved how cozy and convenient it was. Wanda went above and beyond to ensure I had a great experience, providing flexible check in/out times, ample snacks, and an abundance of amenities to help it feel more like home. Communication was smooth and prompt, and helped with everything we needed. I highly recommend Wanda's place to anyone looking for a relaxing and cozy stay in Wonder Lake! I can’t wait to come back.

We booked this place for a girls weekend and it was well worth it. Carlo was responsive to our questions. We were 12 girls and we all fit comfortably. Definitely recommend this place for a nice getaway! All of us really enjoyed our stay!

House was very homey, tidy and clean where is exclusive and private property beautiful views and nice nature. Life host was very responsive and nice was a great stay!

Not only was Meghan's place beautiful and scenic, but it had so many amenities to take advantage of. From boards games on stormy nights, to the hot tub and yard games during sunny mornings. This place had all the options. The house itself was just right for our group of 6 and was stocked full of kitchen equipment for meals, using the grill, making smores, and making coffee. By the end of the trip, all of my friends said they would love to come back to this place later in the year. Meghan herself, was very responsive and accomodating to any questions or needs that we had to make the weekend we stayed there a great one.
