Vacation rentals with a pool in McDowell County

Thank you to Linh for putting up with us and allowing us to extend our stay multiple times. We enjoyed the spacious, clean, peaceful and beautiful location.

My husband and myself enjoyed our stay this weekend ! It was very pleasant and we enjoyed Dean’s hospitality. The place is fully equipped and I would recommend this place to anyone !

Simply put it was awesome. Small things add up. S’mores the record player good pans. The entire family enjoyed this place. The lake in the back private and nice walking trail is great. Too much to list of how great it is. Hot tub was great. Each level of the house has a bath room. The scents throughout the house was a good touch. The community is really nice was able to canoe and fish. The food she recommended was awesome good touch of home at countryside BBQ. If you are looking to relax and distress this is it. Thank you for sharing your lovely home. Memories for a lifetime.

If you’re looking forward to getting away from the city and enjoying some peace and quiet, then this is the place. The mountains views were everything and more! I loved having my morning coffee on the back patio. The house was also beautiful, it had everything we needed for our trip to include a full kitchen equipped with necessary items for cooking. I do appreciate being told to stop by for groceries prior to arrival because once you go up the mountain it’s a roadtrip to go back. I definitely recommend this home and hope to go back in the near future.

My stay here was amazing! Emily and Tommy were able to accommodate an early check in which was so helpful! Not only that, they were both very sweet and welcoming! Made you feel right at home, and also were super helpful with any questions I had. ☺️ The pool was beautiful and so much fun! The floats, toys, and games they provide were so fun to use! Also honorable mention ! the KITTY! The kitty might have been my favorite thing about the stay 😉 ! The inside was decorated so beautifully (i’m taking inspo so I can decorate for my apartment!) so cozy and relaxing! The fire pit was amazing! I would love to stay here again. ☺️ thank you so much Tommy & Emily! Also check in and check out were super easy.

Jeremy, was probably one of the best hosts we have ever dealt with he was great from the reservation to us locking the door and going home. We tried to book a reservation with him some time in October, but he was fully booked for the month. I will defiantly book a stay with him for next October. The unit was exceptional it was clean fully stocked and the bed was very comfortable. The picture of the view off the back deck in the posting of his property didn't do the view justice it was spectacular. The unit was cozy and so comfortable if you love the views of the mountains, you should give the place serious consideration. Thanks, Jeremy, for a great stay Gary.

This was our first time to Lake James and we are definitely coming back! The house was absolutely beautiful and perfect for our needs. It was very clean and had everything in great supply. Like others have written, the house is bigger than the pics let on. Susan was proactive with making sure we had the address, codes, etc before we arrived and very responsive if we had a question. All in all, it was a great time with the family!

Jake was very accommodating. With the Hurricane destruction that had occurred, Jake still went out of his way to make sure myself and the guests were heard and seen and made to feel safe.

Nice, last minute weekend getaway for us! The house is very spacious and clean. The pool was very relaxing and the scenic view was amazing.
