Country home with views

I loved staying here for a couple weeks while working in a nearby town. It was so quiet, the beds were comfortable and the stars were more clear than I've seen in quite a while. Mollie was helpful, honest, and always responded. We were comfortable there and I loved the opportunity to get my truck all covered in mud on the commute when the roads got wet.

Charming 1 bedroom motel with free Wifi

JanetRating, 5 stars3 months ago
Host was very responsive, check in was easy. Older-style motel where you can park in front of your door. Sits back from the road, so was very quiet. The bathroom has been completely renovated. The bed was comfortable for me. All the linens were medium grade. Fridge, microwave, coffee, good TV with cable channels. Everything was very clean. Since my reservation was for only 1, I was given a smaller room with one queen bed. There was not a table/chairs (as in the picture) so if that is important to you (to work, eat, etc) be sure to ask for a room that does have table/chairs. Also, no hair dryer even though it is in the listing details. It looks like there is a small park right across the street if you have children this would be nice. It was very cold (well below zero windchill) and it seemed chilly in the room even though the heater ran almost constantly. If you don't need a fancy place to stay (for twice the cost!) this is a good choice.
A welcoming facade of a large, two-story house is presented, featuring a centered front door with decorative glass and an arch window above. The porch, bordered by white railings, is accompanied by neatly arranged shrubs and a stone pathway leading to the entrance.

Gloria was a fantastic hostess! very responsive and accommodating. The Road Trip room was very clean, comfy and cozy. The basement area was spacious and inviting. Lots of games to enjoy, watch TV, sit on the back patio. The view from the lower level and back patio area are spectacular! We spent a lot of time downtown and by the lake for the Early Rod Run but it was nice to come back to our room and relax. Thank you for your hospitality Gloria and Jeff. I'm glad i stumbled upon you ad. Definitely a great place to stay!

Basement Apartment*Pets Welcome*

Misty’s place was nice and clean and probably one of the most stocked places I have stayed! She thought of everything when providing for what you might need while traveling! There were even bottled waters in the fridge, anything you would need to cook, amenities you may have left at home such as shaving cream, Qtips or makeup wipes. I was so thankful for the spare toothbrush kits she had there when my daughter came with my friend late the night she arrived and forgot her toothbrush. They were super responsive and communicated well. When I could not figure out how to fold down the hide a bed they were there to help right away! Place is older but well maintained! It was just what we needed!
