Cob Cottage

Channel the pursuit of pause in this one-of-a-kind earth house. The cozy retreat was hand-sculpted using local and sustainable natural materials, and features a central living space with cantilevered slab stairs leading to the loft bedroom. Guests have access to the entire cottage and surrounding property. We live in the neighbouring house, and are happy to give advice or answer questions to help you make the most of your stay. The neighborhood is quite rural and mostly agricultural with several farms and a small private vineyard. The home is a 10 minute walk from the beach and a 20 minute walk from a family grocery and deli specializing in local organic produce. Mayne Island has a small community bus. Times and routes are limited, particularly in the winter. It will stop at the driveway. We also have an official hitch hiking system with signed Car Stops where you can wait for a ride. Usually you don't have to wait long. We are happy to offer pickup and drop off at the ferry dock as a courtesy to encourage car-free travellers, on days when the community bus is not running. Please let us know ahead of time that you'll be coming without your own transportation, and we will make sure that either we or the community bus (which will drop you off at our driveway) are there to meet you when your ferry arrives. The BC Ferries terminals near Victoria and Vancouver are easily reachable via public transit from their respective airports and downtowns.

Ravens Ridge is an extremely unique piece of property, set in a sunny clearing within our own forest we have a quiet and relaxing environment. Surrounded by wildlife this is a peaceful haven to artists, photographers, authors. However we also have great kayaking within 5 minutes walk, quiet roads for cycling, we have our own 18 hole disc golf course, hiking trails, fishing, swimming beaches, bays for wake boarding and other watersports. Ravens Ridge and Mayne Island has something for everyone!

Hummingbird Hideaway

The Hummingbird Hideaway is located in the beautiful Bennett Bay area of Mayne Island. It's a very private guest accommodation located separately from the main residence with its own driveway, parking area and side entrance. It has a full kitchen, living room and dining area, bathroom and shower and a separate bedroom with a queen size bed. There is a covered patio out front with a table and chairs overlooking a lovely garden. Bennett Bay beach and Bistro is a short walk from the Hideaway.

Our home offers stunning views of Campbell Bay right from the comfort of the bedroom and living space. Come enjoy swimming, kayaking or just chillin on the dock!

390 Waterfront Cabin

#858704400 Enjoy this spacious waterfront apartment- south facing with views of Navy Channel, Trincomali Channel and Pender Island. 390 has an open plan living/dining/kitchen (fully equipped) with french doors onto a deck and covered walkway/eating area. Two bedrooms with king beds share a jack and jill bathroom. Children are not recommended as the property has a high bank with a significant cliff to the water. The property is home to two young golden retrievers and three nosey cats.

Raven’s Nest

An amazing place to stay. The space provided includes access to a full kitchen, full bathroom, one bedroom, and two living areas. If access to any other amenities please do not be afraid to ask. Great access to walking trails, hiking, kayaking, swimming and beach combing. A 5 min drive or a 20 min walk will bring you to the arts and crafts studios, local grocery shops, gas station, realestate offices, insurance, bakery, pizza truck, restaurants, liquor store and the local pub.

Seal Beach Cottage - Spacious waterfront 22 acres!

Situated in 22 acres of untouched forest our charming cottage is just steps from a secluded sand and pebble beach with its incredible waterfront view, fabulous sunsets, trails, and active, diverse wildlife. A stunning 60-90 min ferry trip from the Mainland. No car required! Seal Beach is 3 km from the ferry. Only 1 km from restaurants, a coffee shop, bakery, and 2 great grocery stores. A happy place for children and dog friendly! A wonderful get-away any time of year!

Shinglewood Cottage

Shinglewood Cottage sits in a park-like setting, thoughtfully curated with antiques, original art, and cozy comforts. Your host Doug is a long-time islander and proud new Airbnb host at 85, with his daughter Karen managing the listing. Close to the beach and just a short walk to town, you’ll find everything you need within easy reach. Watch floatplanes land, ferries pass, and enjoy the quiet charm of island life.

Garden Suite near Dinner Bay

Come and enjoy one of the sunniest patches on Mayne Island. Within walking distance of the ferry terminal, this self-contained and peaceful retreat offers a private entrance, porch, and driveway, as well as full access to the home's large yard and garden. Stroll five minutes down the road or through the woods across the street to Dinner Bay, Dinner Bay Park, and the Japanese Garden.

Dinner Bay Private Cottage

The cottage is situated on 14 acres surrounded by forests but with views of the ocean. It has a huge deck where hammocks (which are provided) can be hung and a full size hot tub is nestled in the rocks. It is very private but still easily accessible to the ocean. We recently installed a new hot tub with lots of different jets, lights and seating. It is quite amazing!

A nicely appointed B&B suite for guests that want to spend quiet nights and days in the clean air and peace of the Southern Gulf Islands. You will have your own deck to relax on and enjoy a BBQ to cook your meals if you like. Breakfast essentials (bakery bread, jam, tea, coffee, OJ, and the best part a basket of freshly made scones ) are provided during your stay.
