Second time renting this house. Great location, host and house for a country getaway. The house accommodates everyone, and has many activities onsite - game room, theater room, fishing, pontoon, fire pit, and a great pond if you have kayaks or able boards.

House was super warm, cozy and comfortable. Great place to come back to after spending the day outside at Bilby Conservation Area.

We are repeat visitors to the Maryville area - Angela has always been helpful and responsive with any questions or concerns. It is a great place to stay when in the area!!

Worth every penny. This is a place men would love to stay for a week of hunting instead of a hotel.

very cute little house! wonderful for the price. quiet area, not many food options and far away from highway and such. but if you plan ahead with meals and such, wonderful stay.

Chris was great and he accommodated our group of hunters. Facility worked great for processing our deer after the hunt. We’ll be back next season.

DeAna’s place was perfect for a quick one night stay in Maryville for Mom’s Day. It was easy to find, good parking and close to the things we did in the area.

My husband and I and two other couples spent a long weekend at the Riverside Retreat. We were very impressed with all of the amenities and extras that were there, which included a smart speaker as well as an additional bluetooth speaker, extra toiletries (which came in handy when my husband forgot his toothbrush!), and anything you could possibly need in the kitchen. There was even a piano, which I was not expecting. We were greeted with fresh flowers and snacks. The house was clean and cozy with updated fixtures. We made good use of the wood-burning fireplace; there was plenty of wood available. The view of the river was great, although weather prohibited us from getting out on the deck. Driving in, you feel like you're in an industrial area, and you are close to neighbors, but once you're in the house and admiring the river, it doesn't matter. It was quiet, and it's a quick drive to town. If you don't like dogs, this place may not be the one for you; two friendly neighbor dogs were over quite a bit of the time looking through the sliding glass door and hoping to be fed - but Barb even provides dog treats! My husband and I opted to stay in the bedroom with two twin beds because it had its own bathroom. My only complaint is that these beds were not at all comfortable! Another couple stayed in the "master bedroom" with a great view and a more comfortable queen size bed, but had to share the bathroom with the third couple, who slept on a pull-out couch in the game room - obviously, this was not very comfortable either. The Riverside Retreat is also full of books and information about St. Joe, which was very helpful when we took some time to explore the city. All in all, I highly recommend the Riverside Retreat for a getaway with friends or family.

If you need access to the campus, this place is it. Walking distance from the campus. Appears to be newly renovated. Clean and nice. I would stay again if in the area.

The house was exactly as described. Simple, quaint and peaceful. Everything was clean and worked as it should. Beverly also pointed us in the right direction for restaurants. We would definitely stay here again if we are back in the area.

Everything went great with our stay. My hunting trip got delayed and they were very good to work with on rescheduling. I would definitely stay with this host in the future.
