Cottage vacation rentals in Marrowstone

This space is not big enough to list all the awesome compliments !! I was trying to find a unique scenario for my sister visiting from Ontario Canada, she only had a 3 day stopover. Cabin- Beach -Island getaway 30 mins from hm - dog friendly - hot tub - BBQ - clean 2 bdrm? Susan's place had everything! I'm a WA resident, but became a tourist, we visited every nook of the island, took every dog friendly opportunity, and tasted too many wines - never mind, no such thing !! (ha ha) The week predicted rain, and we anticipated "Wet Westcoast"... but we had an unexpected week of full spring sunshine, which just added the perfect touch. Susan's place felt like a comfortable cabin right away, and really did have every possible amenity we could think of. Very clean & fresh & the best welcome message next to her organized book of instructions and features. What a find ! Dogs had non stop "bunny & bird watching" until all hours. Eagles!!! Cedar plank BBQ salmon! 10 stars fabulous !

The beach side gem was the perfect location for the wedding we attended at Kiana Lodge. Cabin had a great deck to enjoy morning coffee and afternoon wine. Hot tub was a bonus besides the beautiful views. Paul was quick to respond to questions and provide local recommendations.

My husband and I decided to book something last min, and were so glad that we found this place!! This is one of the most amazing airbnb's I have ever seen, and the amenities are far superior than most places. The views are gorgeous and with the hot tub, it just gets better!! We really had the best time here. The host was always super responsive, and all the instructions were crystal clear. This is definitely one of my favorite airbnb homes. We are DEFINITELY going back to this HIDDEM GEM!!! The neighborhood was beautiful and lots of places to explore from here. Everything was TOP NOTCH.

This was the perfect spot for a weekend getaway. The space was very cozy and relaxing. Loved waking up to lots of sunshine from the skylight and hearing all of the birds chirping while enjoying a cup of tea and reading on the balcony. We enjoyed morning walks around the quiet neighborhood and loved the short walk down to the beach to catch the sunset. The kitchen was great for cooking some delicious meals together and loved using the bonfire and the small yard for some yard games. Lots of great short day trip options, we loved our visit to Finn River Cidery and planned our route to the Airbnb to go through Bainbridge for delicious fish & chips and baked goods. Vicki was very responsive and provided great recs!

Great place with very relaxing atmosphere. There is an otter living in the lake. We loved watching him swim around. Quiet and comfortable. The jacuzzi and sauna was our favorite part! 10/10 recommend

The home was warm and inviting with amazing views. It was spotless and a perfect fit for our family. The kitchen was fully stocked and exceeded our expectations. Communication was smooth and easy—I would absolutely stay here again!

Cris has been wonderful! We needed a place to relocate as an extended stay while we house hunted on the island. The cottage is fully stocked, comfortable, and close to all the things we need in town. Cris has gone above and beyond, from sending update on road conditions, dropping by with bottles of wine, answering all questions, even forwarding alerts about orca sightings around the island! We’ve felt so welcome here and it’s made our transition to the island so much easier.

This is a really special home. Exactly as pictured/described, right on a sandy beach with a huge level lawn (perfect for soccer, balls provided). The house was very well stocked and extremely clean (at one point we lost something in/under the couch and were shocked at how clean it was). It felt less like a vacation rental and more like staying at a friend's beloved beach house- in a good way. Dave and BJ live next door and were so kind and friendly but gave us plenty of privacy. This part of the bay has nice calm clear water. The road was quiet enough to walk on. There is a county park next door with a playground best for young kids.

Great spot, such a beautiful and cozy little house with truly unbelievable views. Walkable to a cluster of small shops and restaurants and down to two different beaches. And Mt Rainier right out the window! Would definitely stay with Thomas again!

Peaceful and private in a quiet neighborhood. Great place for staying with a dog, host was considerate with pet blankets and accessories.

We had a wonderful stay at the farm cottage. CarolLynn was a lovely host and shared sweet stories about the farm animals. My young boys were delighted by the animals. The farm fresh eggs were such a great and much appreciated touch. This was the perfect place for our family to unplug and decompress from city life. Nature and animals are medicine.

Absolutely loved it, the loft was primo for our seven year old daughter!

We have stayed at Veronica's place numerous times over the past few years. She has thought of everything guests need to be comfortable. The view of the mountains and the birds in the yard from the living room is very calming. Veronica's place feels like home.

After 15 years of visiting the same place on Whidbey Island, we found a new spot! This is a magical little place just a few minutes north of Langley, where we saw an abundance of wildlife, had relaxing mornings and restful sleep! Ashlyn's place was perfect for our family of three. The cute little cottage was full of books and wonderful art. Ashlyn was so accommodating about our arrival and provided us with wonderful recommendations. We will definitely be back! If you do book, make sure you ask about the breakfast - ours was spectacular!!

We were very surprised to find all the amenities and more! Katherine reached out about our basic requests and provided us with a couple of days of full breakfasts and coffee and creamer etc. The kitchen is also very well stocked with clean and fresh spices, olive oil and balsamic. The setting is so beautiful with a variety of birds and even the occasional eagle flying overhead. The gazebo with stunning Puget Sound and mountain view is also set up for relaxing and visiting. Both sunset and sunrise visible from the deck. Overall, a very lovely stay and a great value.

This place was better than we expected it to be - we have absolutely no complaints at all!! The place was so spacious and cozy, and we would always look forward to coming back to the place after a long day at Olympic National Park. Renee was also super friendly and responded to us quickly whenever we had any questions. We would love to come back in the future, thank you again!

Incredible deal for a beautiful studio cottage privately tucked away on a side street in a quiet, safe, family friendly neighborhood. Has everything you need to cook, shower, sleep, rest, do work/homework, entertain yourself, and keep warm. Hosts provided the best hospitality my boyfriend and I have ever had through ABNB while our privacy was respected. It was completely contactless! Hosts offered to do our laundry (complementary!) for our week long stay which was very generous, unexpected, and appreciated. Location walking distance to town of Port Angeles (~20 mins) with a delicious Thai restaurant even closer (~5/10 minute walk). Lots of vegan options nearby, cute bookstores, hiking gear stores, gift and souvenir shops, spas and salons, boutiques, thrift stores, hiking trails, the Blackball ferry to Canada, lookouts with snow-capped mountain views right in the neighborhood, and much more! You will likely see deer sleeping while doing dishes in the morning. :) can’t wait to return!

Gisele’s cabin was a great home base while visiting family for the holidays. The cabin is located centrally on the island close to the ferry and downtown Winslow, while the cabin itself was always a cozy place to read and stay warm by the fire. Excited for my next visit!

Absolutely incredible to have the waterfall area to spend your time. That's what brought me. My son enjoyed more of his time in the cottage relaxing, teen style. Host even let my son use HDMI cord. I basically had the waterfall area to myself the whole time, it was fabulous! My dream yard, for sure.

This is the best air bnb in the northwest if not further. It is so comfortable and welcoming. Ot has great complimentary items the unit is cozy. It is a great value. This unit and the host reminded me of why we love air bnbs. It offered more comfort and better feel than a hotel and felt like we were right at home. Especially traveling with a new born and a dog. Its pet friendly with plenty of space and grass to walk you dog. As far as newborn goes they pre warmed the unit up and set up a pack and play for the baby to sleep in. I’m telling you if you are traveling to this area you need to stay at this air bnb.

We adored our time at Linda's place - the coziest and most charming little coastal cottage. We stayed during a particularly stressful time for us, but we felt so nourished by the home and so at peace looking out the windows at the ever changing views of Sinclair Inlet and its passing ferries, submarines, aircraft carriers, seals, birds, and even a little pod of orcas! We intended to do lots of exploring but found ourselves more inclined to just stay home to enjoy the movies, games, and puzzles; cold dips in the Sound at high tide; and the gorgeous views of the mountains, incoming weather, and city lights sparkling on the water. The home was well stocked with everything we could possibly need, from the kitchen, bath, and laundry, to the extra fuzzy blankets and binoculars. Linda had even prepared for the occasional winter-weather power outages, with plenty of flashlights and gas hurricane lamps. Linda is a thoughtful and communicative host, and her cottage is simply a joy!

We had a great time staying here - it was so relaxing. The home is beautiful and the private beach is lovely. I highly recommend staying here if you get the chance.

We had a peaceful and relaxing stay at Marrowstone Cottage. It’s a bright and attractive space that Kristy & Chris set up thoughtfully for comfort and convenience. They were nearby and friendly in case of problems (there weren’t any) but the cottage is also situated for privacy from the main house. We found the kitchen, bathroom, and bedroom (we only used the downstairs bed) well-appointed with linens, dishes, pots & pans, etc. We highly recommend staying here if you’re looking for a quiet, cozy retreat. -Heather & Ken
