Disconnet in this elegant and quiet accommodation. The house is completely renovated. There are 2 minutes of walk to the train and bus station and 5 to the center of the town. Great cafes and restaurants in the area and a free public parking. Very well connected for excursions throughout the Urdaibai nature reserve, visiting all the ancestral towns in the area such as Bermeo, Mundaka, Elantxobe, San Juan de Gaztelugatxe... Well connection to Bilbao 30 minutes, Donostia 60 and the airport 25.

Newly renovated accommodation with the best qualities. It consists of 1 bedroom with a double bed (replaced at the suggestion of a client), a bathroom (with shower) and a kitchen open to the living room. Views of the Gernika estuary and on the Camino de Santiago. Close to the most touristy spots and pincho bars. The beaches are a 15-minute drive away. Public transport 1-3 minutes away. 1 min. from Gernika Market Square, the hospital and free parking. Note: the fireplace cannot be used.

Welcome to our cozy apartment in Urdaibai! In downtown Gernika, very well connected for excursions in the nature reserve. You can enjoy picturesque natural landscapes such as the beaches of Laida and Laga, the cliffs of Ogoño and the stunning views from San Juan de Gaztelugatxe. As well as visiting towns such as Bermeo, Mundaka or Elantxobe. There is also a very good connection to Bilbao (30 minutes), San Sebastián (65 minutes) and the airport (25 minutes).

perfect accommodation, in the middle of tranquility. Dogs are allowed and there is plenty of space to enjoy a barbecue and the outdoors. I would put a spotlight or lamppost outside the house, because when it gets dark, a little more light would be needed to enjoy the summer nights.

We had a great stay at Markel's, in this small typical Basque accommodation. We were on vacation with our 9-month-old daughter, to visit the Urdaibai nature reserve and we wanted to sleep in a quiet and peaceful place, we couldn't have hoped for better, accommodation in the middle of the mountains, easy to park with a terrace just great! There is everything you need in the kitchen and the bathroom. We can only recommend this place! Thank you for hosting us

One of my best experiences ever . Irati was absolutely superb from start to finish an excellent communicator and nothing was too much bother . The cottage was delight ful and the scenery was amazing . She even organised our taxi in and out of the city not to mention booking our tables at the restaurants we ate in . This apartment was idea for our trip, I was pleasantly surprised by the size, was actually a lot larger than the photos show. Check in was easy, apartment was clean, beds were extremely comfortable. Close to the train station, lovely little cafe just down the hill. I’d highly recommend this accommodation.

Teresa, a professional host! Beautiful house, close to the center and with free parking a few minutes away. I spent three weeks in this apartment and I really hope to be able to return, maybe for a vacation! If you are planning to visit the Basque Country, I highly recommend staying with Teresa!
