Second time staying at 4 Seasons Ranch to go fishing on Houghton Lake Very private, lots of woods, huge fire pit, game room, kitchen stocked well. Close to boat launches, bait and shops. Nice place to wind down with a walk through the woods, a game of corn hole, cooking dogs and burgers on the grill. Inside there are games, and a dart board. House is clean and beds are very comfortable. Debra is very easy to contact

had a wonderful stay. I have visited the area alot over the years and to pick this house as our location for a quick side by side trip couldn't have pick a better spot

Spent an extremely peaceful week fly fishing during the day and relaxing at the house in the evening. The house and hosts provided everything one needs to enjoy their time away. The setting was amazingly quiet.

Mara went above and beyond as a host and her place was cute and clean with lots of amenities.

Josh is a awesome host and was very responsive during our stay. The home was awesome and highly recommend!!

The house is on the canal right off the lake. We kept our boat tied up right outside the house. There are a lot of extras. Lucky for us there was an extra gas can because our gas gage started acting up and we ran out of gas in the middle grounds. There are kayaks you can use. There is a washer and dryer, plus a black stone. Lots of room for parking. I loved the king size bed.

The copper door lodge was amazing. we stayed for 2 nights and we fell in love with the layout. There was alot of things to do the moment u walked in. They had so many games to play and enjoy. the cabin was bigger than what the photos showed. and the host was really responsive and always making sure everything was alright. they made us feel at home and they made sure nothing was missing They thought of everything. I would totally recommend this place.

Absolutely loved our stay! This place had everything we needed! We did have one accident on our part and let the hosts know immediately and they were very helpful and responsive. Highly recommend this place!!

We really enjoyed staying at Fawn’s place!! This was a top tier place! She thought of everything and provided so many extras like snacks, an assortment of drinks and even chocolates on the pillows. The decor was very well done and it was so clean and comfortable. It was a great spot to stay as we explored some of north Michigan. We slept well and the surroundings were very peaceful and quiet. We would stay here again without any hesitation. Fawn was quick to answer questions and help in any way. We enjoyed staying here very much!!

Juli Lynne's place is very comfortable, very livable, very clean, and right next to a wonderful county park where you can take a nice walk. Juli Lynne was very nice, very communicative and made sure we were satisfied with everything, and we were. It was a great place for a weekend getaway!

Christine's place was amazing, she was very helpful. Had a sweet dog to greet us when we got there and made homemade donuts for us. Place is even bigger than advertised. Wifi worked great, everything was clean and homey. Would definitely stay there again.

We had a wonderful, peaceful stay at Daphne & Will's gorgeous home. To say they went above and beyond would be an understatement – their space was filled with tasteful decorations, thoughtful touches, and high-quality finishes and furnishings. There was no way we could use every amenity available on a short 3-day stay, but that's all the more reason to come back and enjoy the space again sometime in the future. We particularly enjoyed the fireplace, view of the trees and lake, and comfy sofa – perfect for a relaxing trip. Will and Daphne struck the perfect balance of responsiveness, giving space, and friendliness. Airbnb perfection.

Great stay, small and cozy for 2 people. Bathroom shower / getting out is kind of tight but doable. A larger person might have more of an issue but over all would recommend. Pretty central in a small town

Trent's place was exactly what we needed for our quick weekend away visiting friends for their daughter's graduation party. Loved the loft vibe the place had. It's a quick drive over to Traverse City too. We will stay again if opportunity arises.

It was better than expected. The place was clean, amenities were thoughtful. Everything we needed was there. The host definitely had the guests best interest in mind. . Very pleased. 5 star host for sure.

There’s something magical about Shanty Creek. It’s our little escape each year, and this visit was just what we needed. Mornings with coffee, evenings with sunsets—those peaceful balcony views never get old. The space is cozy, calm, and always feels like a gentle pause from the world. It gave us room to breathe, rest, and just be. Cheryl was a fantastic host who communicated with perfect detail and the space was our perfect getaway. We are already dreaming of next year’s visit!

The host are great and friendly, provided clear instructions and proactive communication. The unit is clean and comfortable with a great view. We had a thunderstorm roll in one night and saw some amazing lightning over Lake Michigan. Shanty Creek has some fantastic golf courses and amentienes. Had some delicious food in local spots in Bellaire and Mancelona. 30 min drive to Traverse City with tons of local lakes and parks nearby, can't beat the location. Would for sure look to book this place again.

Fantastic place to stay! It was exactly how the photos described it and had everything anyone would need for an overnight/week stay. I was extremely happy with this place :) beautiful and quiet beachfront was great.

Beautiful location, perfect getaway.

Kara was very responsive. The air conditioning was not working but they had someone out and it was fixed the same day. It was not as close to downtown as I would have liked but that was my fault for not completely checking out the location. Fantastic shower. Lots of room and super close to the bike trails. And gorgeous view of the water.

Jesse was a great host and we enjoyed staying at their place! We appreciated the private beach to play at and the pool was well maintained. There were plenty of food and entertainment options that Jesse recommended in their binder, and all were fantastic choices. The views were amazing from the living room/patio, and it felt very private. We couldn’t see any other guest and did not hear neighbors. It was very peaceful being on site and we could definitely see about renting the place again in the future! Jesse was a great host, communicated early and often, and made sure our stay was a pleasant one. Overall, great experience and thank you for letting us stay at your lovely home!
