Perfect for a fishermans getaway. A few minutes drive from multiple boat launches for Houghton lake. Tons of good restaurants also within a few minutes away. Family fare right around the corner for those that need to do some shopping for forgotten essentials, or those who want to pick up food to cook for themselves. The place was very clean, and comfortable environment. The neighborhood was very nice and quiet. 10/10 would book again!

Rachel’s house was comfortable from the start. Everyone including the pets found the house to be fun. The children loved the ability to fish right from the pier and to get out on the water with the 3 waterboard choices. The fire pit was nicely located being right outside the back door instead of down by the water. We found the Harrison location to fun as well. We will be back to Rachel’s house and Harrison.

Our group has a great time and enjoyed the cottage and property. The host was responsive to questions. The property was as described and a comfortable place to stay.

We booked this place last minute, and couldn’t be more glad we did! The host was incredibly responsive and friendly, making the whole experience seamless. The house itself is stunning—clean, well-organized, and beautifully set up. Honestly, the pictures don’t do it justice! The surroundings are equally beautiful and added so much charm to our stay. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a peaceful, comfortable retreat.

My husband and I stayed here for our anniversary and babymoon trip. It’s such a great location, only an hour from Petoskey and 30 minutes from Traverse City, as well as nearby nature parks to enjoy. We loved being able to go out kayaking on the lake as well! It’s extremely peaceful here, and the Airbnb is so thoughtfully stocked with everything you’d need. It was probably the cleanest Airbnb we’ve ever been to, great care was taken with every area. Fawn is incredibly kind and was quick to respond with any question we had. We absolutely loved it here, and would happily return!

Lovely place RIGHT on the lake. My husband and I went for a date weekend of ice fishing and relaxation. Yes-it was a perfect spot to walk out and fish despite the quantities of snow! Restaurants all right there in walking distance- hours are different than what is on menus or online so be aware. Very clean and cozy place that was spacious and warm. We will definitely keep it on our list for the future!

An absolutely beautiful space and amazing hosts. I had the perfect stay with Monica and Gary, they were so friendly and helpful. The apartment is the cleanest rental I have ever stayed in by far, the view from the balcony is beautiful and the lake access is beautiful with a large sandy beach. I will definitely be staying here again when I visit lake city. Also, very comfy beds and a quiet peaceful neighborhood. Highly recommend.

Super cute apartment unit! They had all the amenities, clear instructions, it was super clean and easy to check in and out of! Very nice! The host was super helpful with instructions and information before check in too!

We have stayed several times now. This place has a beautiful view of Lake Missaukee. They are always accommodating with check-in time. Check in and out was easy. Walking distance to restaurants. It had everything we needed. Host was very responsive.

If you’re looking for a quiet and peaceful place this is definitely the one! Restaurants are only a few minutes away. The delicious coffee was a plus as well! SO GOOD!!

The home was very spacious, clean and comfortable. We only stay one night and wished our stay was longer. Definitely if we get the chance would stay at this Airbnb again!

A Perfect Stay at Fife Lake Lodge – Beyond Expectations! We had the absolute pleasure of staying at Fife Lake Lodge for two nights, and it was nothing short of amazing. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the cleanliness, comfort, and charm of this place. The location is perfect, offering stunning views that truly make the stay unforgettable. The staff went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect, making us feel welcomed and well taken care of. The lodge had all the essentials we needed, and more - it was clear that a lot of thought was put into making guests feel at home. The interior of the apartment brought back a wonderful sense of nostalgia, adding to the warmth and character of the stay. What a gem! If you're looking for a hotel type room but without the steril hotel feeling, this is the place for you. The lodge is right on the water with several hammocks, porch swings, beach loungers, & a fire pit with chairs. I enjoyed my morning cup of tea sitting on our balcony, looking right over the lake with loons swimming and diving for their breakfast. We did have a slight disappointment where the listing was not accurate (the listing stated two rooms & four beds when it was one room and 2 beds), but when I brought it up to property management, they apologized & rectified it without issue. My toddler loved swinging in the hammock & the porch swings as well as playing in the sandy area by the water, but was disappointed in the play structure, which was quite rough & dirty and didn't have a baby/toddler swing). Overall, it was a lovely & serene place and I would absolutely come back. It's close to family we have up north so we definitely foresee ourselves returning!

Room is setup like a hotel room or motel. We got confused by the Air BnB check in instructions cause when they were listing 1. 2. 3…. At first we took it as the parking spot we were assigned to was #2. But then we realized the parking is based on the room number matching the spot number. It was an easy place to sleep for the night but we spent most of the time in Traverse City since a lot of places seemed closed in the town. When coming and going there were a lot of spiders on the porch and a couple in our room corners. Beds were clean. The shower did take a bit to warm up. The host does leave notes warning that the hot water takes about 5 minutes to warm up. There is a fireplace you can use down near the water. A few benches are scattered in the yard so you can enjoy the view of the lake. It was beautiful to watch the fog move over the water in the morning. They do have kayaks available but we didn’t use them. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

This was a great place to stay close to Traverse City! Nice & relaxing! We took advantage of the fire pit area & made some s’mores! We loved the ice cream place mad swirlz close by! :) I wanted the room with a recliner & they were very responsive and helpful!! Thanks for a great stay!
