Guapulo is the best spot for escaping the big smoke of modern Quito, and Amandine’s place gives you everything you could wish for for a comfortable and relaxing stay. My fav. time of day was 7-9am when the morning sun streams in the windows and the hammock beckons, together with some good music and fresh coffee :)

La casa es muy grande. En la mañana a veces era difícil de encontrar a mi familia 😂. Verónica fue súper buena con la comunicación y muy complaciente con nuestro horario de check out.

We stayed at Wendy and Xavier’s for a month and from the moment that we walked into the apartment it felt like home. You will never find another airbnb that is as well equipped as this one. There was everything from a full complement of spices, an array of small kitchen appliances, a bathroom scale and even a tennis racket and balls. The building is conveniently located across from La Carolina Park and within walking distance of the new subway. The building is very secure and we appreciated having a keypad for easy entry to the apartment. Communication with Xavier was great and his responses were complete and seemingly instantaneous. We had a wonderful experience here so much so that we are returning for our last few days in Quito before returning home.

Pasamos cuatro semanas aquí y disfrutamos mucho de nuestra estancia. La casita es lindissima y el jardín es precioso, y la hospitalidad es insuperable, así que nos sentimos muy cómodos y como en casa. El anfitrión es super amable, atento y servicial en todo. El alojamiento es muy recomendable si no quieres quedarte en el centro de Quito (downtown) sino en un típico Barrio Quiteño. Excelente en todo!!!

Excelente host, el lugar bonito y tranquilo, el llegar y salir es una aventura que se la disfruta, recomiendo llevar botas y ver el clima de los días que planeas quedarte, muy recomendable para quedarse dos o tres días para disfrutar todo

La cabaña está increíble, un lugar amplio, limpio, ordenado, bonito. Es más grande de lo que describen, la ubicación es tranquila. Tienen varios senderos para caminar, hay lugares recreativos cercanos. Sin embargo, si uno no desea salir de la cabaña o irse muy lejos, se puede caminar en los senderos tranquilamente. Las personas que entregan las llaves, muy amables y atentas. Este lugar lo recomiendo, el anfitrión responde rápido, da las indicaciones para llegar bien. ¡Excelente todo!

Una cabaña increíble!!! Llena de naturaleza y paz. Es cerca de la ciudad, pero se siente en la mitad del bosque. Excelentes hosts y muy limpio! Ideal para un plan en pareja para escaparse de la ciudad.
