Some of our guest has said sitting on the porch watching the beautiful sunsets each night was an added bonus for staying with us.

My husband I stayed at Linda’s adorable place on a cross-country move. We had driven 13 hours when we arrived and maps delivered us easily. The cottage (best word I can use to describe) was clean and filled with adorable vintage artistic items. My exhausted husband was willing to head into Carbondale for pizza and it was an easy trip there and back (16 mins. Each way). This was a wonderful oasis for us on our journey.

The serene landscape features a vibrant sunset over the water, with shades of orange, pink, and purple reflected on the calm surface. Dark silhouettes of trees line the horizon, contrasting with the colorful sky, creating a peaceful and inviting atmosphere.

What a fantastic stay! The camper was cozy, clean, and had everything we needed for two nights. The host was incredibly kind, caring and responsive, making sure we had a comfortable experience and easy check in. I especially always appreciate the to-go coffee cups, which were a thoughtful touch. The location was perfect—we came to hike the Little Grand Canyon Trail, about an hour away, which was an absolutely incredible hike for the rock scrambling adventurer, and down the road from Mase’s BBQ, where I enjoyed a delicious meal after. I would definitely recommend this place and stay again in the future!

My family of 3 had a wonderful stay at Nesher Cottage! It was a peaceful quiet space, which was exactly what we were looking for. It was a short drive to some beautiful hiking trails. and when we returned, the bathtub felt luxurious, and the beds with so many throw pillows were perfect for lounging. We especially enjoyed catching glimpses of hummingbirds through the window and watching fireflies from the front porch.

Read the instructions for the shower!! Totally our fault (we didn’t read the listing well enough) but the shower handle needs to be turned back a little to get really hot water. Had a great experience here. The check-in/out process was smooth, the house was clean and well-decorated, and the neighborhood was quiet and safe. Loved the big fenced-in backyard for my kid to run. No complaints.

It added a playful and adventurous element to our stay that made it even more memorable. And let’s talk about the amenities—wow! Every little detail, from the comfy linens to the stocked kitchen (with local coffee and honey) and relaxing outdoor spaces, made us feel completely taken care of. Local recommendations!!! Highly recommend for anyone looking to escape, unwind, and enjoy a truly special retreat. Can’t wait to come back!
