The home was very clean and cozy! All the local restaraunt recommendations were in a binder upon our arrival and the ones we ordered from were delicious. The heater worked very well and the living room even had charming Christmas lights on the mantle for extra charm.

Nice cottage - beautiful windows overlooking pasture. Kitchen well stocked including snacks - especially liked the electric tea kettle. Plenty of blankets, pillows and towels. Brought our horses - very accommodating. Had 2 paddocks and 4 stalls. The only thing missing was a cover for the stalls which would have been great for the nights with rain and storms. We used Sue’s horse guide services. She took us all around Shawnee. Saw amazing sites - rocks, bluffs, waterfalls and caves. While it was just 2 of us in cabin, all rides included other people - friends of Sue or other clients and Sue’s trail dogs. So much fun and hope to return soon!

We used this for a few days of spring turkey hunting, very quiet and peaceful. Worked out just as it should have!!! Would definitely use again…. Thanks Joe!

Tyler was an incredible host. He accommodated our last minute booking and welcomed us and our fur babies. Tyler was responsive and kind. The home was clean with a pleasant smell. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. We were genuinely surprised with the size of the living space and felt right at home. The kitchen snack box and the bathroom necessity boxes were so thoughtful. The animal toy/blanket bin, coffee/tea station, and board game collection were highlights. 10/10 would recommend and stay again.

We thourghly enjoyed spending time at Jason's place. It's our annual Fishing and Stitching trip. Great dock for fishing. I have knee problems and easily managed the stairs. It's located less than an hour from the Paducah Quilt Show making it a convenient location for a trip to the show. We'd definitely book this again.

My husband and I so do appreciate a clean place. We’ve stayed here before and it’s always extremely clean. The host is very accommodating and responded to a question immediately! This is truly the only placed we’ve stayed where sufficient towels are left. We will stay again!

Great place to stay very comfortable and close to the state park where I go fishing. It's perfect Accommodations were fantastic. I will stay there again when the opportunity arises.

Adams Rock cabin was a great home base for our Shawnee trip! The place looks exactly as pictured/described. We appreciated the Native American decor as well as informative books in the cabin. The location is not super remote, but the large yard was perfect for our kids and dog to play and just enjoy being outside. We particularly enjoyed roasting marshmallows around the fire pit! For others traveling with kids, it is worth knowing that the loft bedroom is up a steep ladder without any particularly good way to block the ladder at the bottom or top. The kitchen was equipped with necessities but not a lot of extras. If you’re planning to pack picnic lunches for your hikes, make sure to bring storage containers! Overall, we had a wonderful stay, appreciated all of Mary’s helpful communication, and really enjoyed exploring a new-to-us part of the country!

We enjoyed our stay here. The house was exactly as described and in a quiet neighborhood. The house was also very clean, from the bedrooms and living room to the kitchen, which had all of the utensils, pot and pans you'd need for cooking. We also unexpectedly needed to stay an extra night and Lori quickly responded and made it happen seamlessly for us.

We loved staying here for our wedding. Andrew accommodated our wedding party since we were getting married in the area. We were amazed at how gorgeous, clean and homey the property felt. The communication with Andrew was top tier. We will be recommending this to all of our friends and might even be back for a weekend away❤️

The Owls Nest was a perfect place to stay with our family and our 2 dogs. The fenced in back yard had plenty of room, a fire pit and nice sized deck. The bedrooms were all cozy and had comfortable beds. The living room has plenty of room to play games or watch a movie and the kitchen has everything you need . We love to hike and Mt Bike and this location was close to many hiking trails and about a 5 min drive to Touch of Nature trails for riding. We would definitely book another stay at the Owls Nest!

Our stay was absolutely fabulous! I’ve stayed at dozens of Airbnb’s and can confidently say that Richard’s place is one of the cleanest. The home is stunning, with so many large windows overlooking the water. The pictures truly don’t do it justice. We’re already planning 2 stays there over the summer.

Second time our group has stayed there. Great place and Josh was quick to get back to us.

This place was perfect for our hunting crew to be near the competition hunt in Salem, and provided a very comfortable, beautiful place to rest. The price was great! Would stay again if the championship hunt is back that way again.
