Cottage vacation rentals in Marielyst

We had a lovely stay here, the house and garden are lovely and great location close to beach and shops/cafes etc. Would definitely go back.

Very convenient house to accommodate a large number of people, there were 23 of us. I recommend a maximum of 20 adults as the attic is quite low. The kitchen is super well equipped, with 2 ovens, 2 dishwasher, and easy to use for a large group. The big plus of the house: the hot tub we were able to enjoy. We had a great time, I totally recommend it. The only downside is the cleaning of some rooms, with lots of cobwebs. But it's a detail, the rest of the house was very clean.

We spent 5 nights in Lars' cottage and felt right at home. It's only a few hundred meters to the beautiful beach, sitting area and sofa are cozy, kitchen well equipped and beds are comfortable :) We had a great holiday!

A really clean and charming house with the perfect location for different activities. Everything was as described. A fully equipped kitchen, nice bath room, good beds, cosy garden … We really enjoyed our stay with our family of 7.

We stayed with Markus and Sus for 10 days and had a really nice time. The cottage is really super equipped and there is even a pizza oven 😉 Overall, the cottage is cozy and "with an eye for detail" and also in the garden we were able to relax well and play various games such as Kubb or ladder golf. We felt very comfortable in the small summer house. In the garden, deer and rabbits visited us. In the village there are good restaurants (easy to reach by bike or car) and the beach is within walking distance. You can take exciting bike rides. On Sundays there is a great flea market in the village in the summer.

We had a nice stay at the cottage located in a quiet neighborhood yet central. The cottage is well decorated with a large and beautiful conservatory . The house contains everything you need, among other things, TV and fast internet, all at a good price. Is also very child-friendly with a large garden, trampoline, swings, sandbox and toys. The bikes were a little older, but they were all functional. We would love to come again :)

The cottage is very cozy and has a great large property where you have a lot of space. We particularly liked the nature and the great amenities (hammock, bicycles, balls, etc.). The beach is very close and beautiful.

The house reflects the timelessness and tranquility of this beautiful island wonderfully. It has everything you need and the surroundings are wonderful!

Beautiful tiny house right by the harbour. Kitchen is well equipped, nice bathroom and a bench outside, perfect for a sunset dinner. There were only two of us so it was perfect, I wouldn’t have been comfortable sleeping upstairs as it was quite warm and quite a lot of insects but the house could fit 6 people. We can definitely recommend the place. We had a perfect stay and would come back for sure! Thanks for having us!

We stayed in Victoria's house for a week and loved it. The garden is beautiful, there is a nice veranda with evening sun and a hammock to hang in between apple trees. In the evening we saw rabbits and hedgehogs. We really enjoyed the quiet and georgous nature. The house provides everything you need as a small family and Askø is perfect for spending quality time in nature. Thank you Victoria for everything.

We had a very nice time at the cottage. There is a beautiful large, invisible garden. And some sole equipment that we liked to use. E.g. a shuttlecock net and rackets. Unfortunately, our children did not want to sleep in the annex, as there was no toilet and they did not want to walk alone in the dark at night. In the small settlement there are deer and rabbits that you could see. And a great starry sky. The beach is within walking distance. There wasn't much going on there either, so we had the beach almost to ourselves. However, there is a seaside resort nearby with restaurants, tourist information, ice cream parlors and shops, so it was not too lonely. An all-around beautiful holiday. Thank you so much!

Beautiful summer house in quiet surroundings where you feel at home with family or friends. The contact with Jane was straightforward and she was available to us when we had questions. During our stay, we even enjoyed homemade cherry tomatoes. The summer house is located within a few minutes' walk from the family-friendly swimming beach (tip: the transparent, colorless jellyfish are completely harmless). Around the summer house there are several seating and dining options as well as a beautiful lawn surrounded by a few trees. The kitchen is very well equipped for people who like to cook and bake. Here and there, a small cleaning is needed, but all in all we go home with a very good experience and would love to come back. Thank you, dear Jane, for letting us being your guests.

A comfortable, private, informal place to stay. Close to plenty of activities and nice places to visit. All of the info and instructions were accurate and clear. Nina was responsive and communicated well. Great all round.

We felt very comfortable in the house with our two children! When we arrived, we couldn't believe this would be all for us. But it was, great! There are small seating around the house, so there is a cozy place at any time of the day. We sat outside very often overlooking the sea. However, the sea right nearby is overgrown with reed and not a white swimming beach. But you could easily reach it by car. For this, it was wonderfully quiet there and we enjoyed the summer air, the peace and the smell of the grain fields all around. The technical equipment is great (huge TV, great Wi-Fi, induction stove, etc.), but the lighting is a science in itself. Particularly worthy of mention is the nice lush garden all around. The keys were handed over without any problems. The house is highly recommended, happy again! Thank you for letting us spend our vacation there!
