Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Mariager Fjord

We had a wonderful Christmas stay at Emma’s home! It was clean and comfortable, we had absolutely everything we needed, and Emma was friendly and easy to communicate with! Bobby the cat was easy to take care of, and seemed extremely comfortable and okay with us strangers suddenly in his space. He immediately threw himself into our laps and slept with us every night. It was easy to catch a cab at the Aarhus main train station and take it to the Airbnb. It was equally easy and quick to order a cab to pick us up directly at the address and drive us to our holiday party, even at the busy hour of 18:00 on December 24th. I’m definitely giving the experience 5-stars in every category, and would highly recommend the home to everyone that loves cats, easy vacations, and friendly hosts!

The place has far exceeded our expectations - even nicer than the pictures! The location is great, everything you need is easy to reach. Communication was excellent and straightforward. All in all, a perfect experience - be back any time! :)

Soren's house looks like the photos shown, it is undoubtedly a beautiful house, richly defined by Danish design details with ample space left for lighting. It is on one floor, with the rooms facing, all three, the large living room with open kitchen. The master bedroom is small in size and has a large bathroom with double shower and a walk-in closet that is not available. We stayed a few nights and did not need to unpack our suitcase. Probably those who need to do so could find themselves without support bases or places to store personal belongings, in fact they left us only a few hangers and a couple of chairs. The children's rooms are bright and equipped with TVs. The laundry room is very useful, equipped with everything you need. Like the kitchen. The house is located outside the city, about 5 km, and although we had bikes it was uncomfortable with the center, keep that in mind. Hosts present and available

This is a beautiful home in Aarhus. It has everything you need for a family trip. Great living space and a garden with a lot of options to play for kids. Fantastic location, very close to the city center.

The accommodation is extremely convenient and peaceful with children. Games available for kids. The place is really very pleasant and close to Arrhus, perfectly located. Hosts are responsive to any questions and cordial. I would recommend this place for a family who would like to visit Arrhus. You will be happy there.

The house is lovingly furnished and we lacked almost nothing. For our baby, there was pretty much everything you could ever need. Beds, high chair even a buggy and stroller as well as a baby swing were available. Even the slightly older children are never bored here, there are plenty of games & toys for any weather. The property offers plenty of space to play and, like the house, makes a well-maintained impression. We found the little refreshment that Sofie provided for us very nice.

We were warmly welcomed by Anne-Dorrit and Mark and they showed us everything in the accommodation. The house is very cozy and although it was very cold outside, it was nice and warm. We particularly liked the oven, which heats the entire house and makes it cozy. The house is not far from the beach where you can walk well. We liked it very well there.

Lovely house and garden, big space for the kids to play! Easy accessibility by car around the area.

The apartment was clean and comfortable. It is a very quiet location,but shops and a gas station were only a short drive away. You need a car or bicycle. The kitchen was well-equipped. I would highly recommend the apartment for anyone who wants some peace and quiet. The beach is a 2-minute walk away over some dunes.

Great place, centrally located, close to the hiking trails of Mols and the tourist attractions of Djurs. New and clean apartment. Beautiful patio.

Clean and tidy apartment with everything we needed. In addition, milk and yogurt as well as corn flakes etc. Definitely recommended

A really nice apartment with lovely underfloor heating and cozy decor. The furniture was nice and the beds are great for sleeping. It was a positive surprise with a small dishwasher, which made it all extra easy. Mark was a friendly and very helpful host. All in all a really good stay – we will definitely come again and highly recommend the place!

We have stayed at Gittes place before and love it everytime. Our place away from home. It's very cozy and the location is very central. And Gitte is very helpfull and easy to get hold of. We highly recommend people to stay here.

This is a perfect little apartment - the bed was so comfortable, the kitchen was just the right size, and the living room was spacious. It was a lovely place to unwind at the end of a busy day

We stayed 2 nights in April, a family of 5 with 2 teenagers and a 7 year old. On a trip to experience Aarhus. The apartment is incredibly beautiful, as a neighbor to a beautiful beech forest, on a quiet residential street. The air was filled with birds chirping. You can walk to the city center through the forest in 45 minutes. By car about 10 minutes to Den Gamle By and 20-25 minutes to the city center. Thus relatively central. The apartment itself is beautifully decorated with all the necessities that could be missing, including in the kitchen. Really nice beds. French balconies from all rooms, overlooking the sea and/or forest. We were very well received by Adam and Helena, who were great for instructing and guiding. It was even prepared with drinking, etc. upon arrival. All in all, a lovely stay and can only recommend it to others. We hope to come again, another time!

We had a great time at the apartment, it was incredibly nice, and had everything we needed. Spacious and clean with a convenient kitchen and cozy dining area. Great with washing machine and tumble dryer.

We picked the place as it was conveniently located for a work event nearby - turned out fantastic and allowed us to have a relaxed and restful space nearby. Great place - very nice and spacious, beautifully furnished and functional and well equipped kitchen. The terrace balcony is a standout, especially if the weather is good. We really liked the location, which is close to a train station and a nice area for walking. Would definitely come again.

Had a great few days in Denmark where we stayed wonderfully in this apartment. So clean and neat and well equipped kitchen. Sleep great in good beds with delicious duvets. Frede was very nice and service minded. Highly recommend renting from him. The location is rural with only 10-15 min drive to nearby towns such as Hobro and Hadsund. Short distance to Bramslev Bakker where you can walk in the beautiful surroundings.
