Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Marfa

This home was as described and beautiful. The only complaint I have was because of my own oversight. We brought our dogs and kids and I didn't pay attention to the beautiful landscaping in the pictures...all cactus. Not a huge deal, just had to be a little more cognizant. There was a small ant problem because one of the kids left a drop of dinner next to the stove after cleanup. When I noticed in the morning, I cleaned up the food and kitchen towel and they never showed again. They do warn about goat head stickers in the yard. If you're bringing pets, make sure you pay attention, ours picked up a couple, but we knew ahead of time and it's not a real issue. There is a lot of room and the place is beautiful and welcoming.

This place is AMAZING! Just outside of Alpine and the stargazing is superb. Will is a fantastic host and was very flexible and responsive. They graciously allow dogs which was a huge bonus for us, PLUS a fenced in backyard! The property is beautiful and we had plenty of privacy. The home itself was perfectly clean when we arrived and we had everything we needed! I plan on staying here again in the future, thank you so much Will!!

Great place to stay in Marfa! Close to everything and walkable. The place was beautiful and decorated great- very comfortable space! Only thing to note is the WiFi is extremely spotty, which the hosts mentions, but if you are looking for good WiFi this might not be the place for you. That being said, its great to disconnect for a bit!

we were a big crew from airbnb (55 of us in the area) and had the most magical experience. blown away by the art, food, shops, sips and overall energy of the town. this particular property was ideal for the way the space was laid out and the proximity to town! the pool was key! Highly recommend.

Beautiful and comfy home. Clear directions. Boys loved hanging in the hot tub after a long road trip. I loved lying in the hammock and having my own space to recuperate. The yard was a beautiful place to enjoy an early morning coffee. Highly recommend Ernie’s home.

We LOVED our stay at the Mountain View Guesthouse!!! The view of the mountains was lovely, and the animals (goats, chickens, ducks and Thor the horse) were all friendly and a joy to watch. We would sit out on the patio in the morning with coffee and in the evening with a glass of wine and just enjoy the cool breeze and the surroundings. The house is near Ft. Davis and we went up to the McDonald Observatory and were blessed with a clear night to view the stars through their telescopes. Alpine, TX is a very small town with friendly folks and NO TRAFFIC! We are from the Houston area so that was especially relaxing. If we are ever in the area again, we would definitely stay at Lisa's place again.

Very clean and comfortable, with great views. The goats and chickens were friendly and calm. We even found farm fresh eggs in the fridge.

We stayed for a few days before venturing into Big Bend for hiking. We’ve always loved alpine but this is our favorite spot yet. It’s close to everything yet feels private. The space is beautifully designed with all the bedding, towels, and kitchen supplies you need. We can’t wait to visit again soon!

Easy, comfy, cute, and very walkable. I liked the touch of the work desk in the hallway.

Dani’s house was the best Airbnb experience in ten years! This little two bedroom casita had everything from an exceptional kitchen with quality knives, appliances and essential ingredients for cooking to great beds with good linens. The shared bath between the two bedrooms was spick and span and modernized. At 105 years old, it’s clear this family home has been well loved. Dani was quick to respond and her extended family still in the area stood ready to help as needed…but weren’t needed! Great porch and wonderful, LARGE fenced yard for our two pooches! I wish all Airbnb’s were this nice!

The house was so centrally located and had everything we needed! Eric was so communicative and we had the best girls trip!

We have been to Marfa quite a few times and this place works well for a large group. Everything in Marfa is very close by, so you're never too far away from anything!

April was amazing and I hope to spend time again at her place!

My family of three shared Jessica’s place with my brother and sister in-law’s family of four and in the words of my sister-law, “This was the best Airbnb experience we’ve ever had!” The location was walkable (even for tiny legs) to all the stores and eateries. The house had plenty of space for family game night, cookouts, and even a laundry room for after swimming at Balmorhea. The split floor plan was excellent to give each family privacy and my baby wouldn’t wake the whole house up in the middle of the night. I must also include we got on the road early and energized because we weren’t running around ragged with a lot of check out procedures and cleaning. Leaving was so quick and simple! Jessica’s place is a STEAL OF A DEAL and an Airbnb dream.

We were in love with Daphne's place from the moment we stepped inside. Just gorgeous, well-appointed, and the views of the stars were like nothing we've ever experienced. Daphne was also super responsive when we had a question at check-in. Our only regret: not booking a longer stay. In short, we'll absolutely be back and cannot recommend Daphne's place enough. Don't think about it—just book it. Such a sweet home!
