Casa Hermosa. The Starlight and King suite

EmilyRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Very nice place to stay in Fort Davis. Most comfortable beds I have slept in in an Air BB. Great mattress! Very quiet and peaceful with the sleeping lion mountain in front. We enjoyed the birds and their morning chatter. Walkable to the downtown area. Matthew was a lovely host. Quickly responded to my question and had clear instructions for the lockboxes. Also he was very concerned with making our stay wonderful. Be aware that there aren’t too many eating establishments in Fort Davis but we tried Lupita’s and were not disappointed! Also there’s a very nice, new Lowe’s grocery store in Fort Davis where you can get any groceries as well as supplies. We definitely enjoyed the area and Matthews place. Do not miss the McDonald Observatory! The stars at night are truly big and bright in Texas!

The house has a ton of charm and was perfect for our family of 5. Loved the projector screen downstairs - fun for something different. The lights took some guess work, but part of the charm!

Art House Marfa

JonathanRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Have been wanting to make the trip to Marfa for over a decade, and finally did it. The Level 2 EV charger on site was a real plus for me, and before we arrived Kathryn was able to confirm that the charger was working, which really put me at ease. Everything was exactly like the pictures and having great local dining like the Water Stop and Bordo close by was a HUGE plus!

Studio House: Three Private Suites *3B/3Bath*

EmmaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Came to Marfa with a group of friends for a wedding and had a wonderful stay here! Each room was clean and exactly as described. We didn't do much cooking but enjoyed being able to make coffee. Some of us arrived in Marfa earlier than expected and management was able to let us check in a couple hours early, which we really appreciated. If we're back in town, would definitely stay here again!

Blue Agave is a great place to stay. It is at the foot of the Davis Mountains with a lovely view and within walking distance to Main St. shops and restaurants. The house is charming and very clean! There were plenty of supplies - towels, paper goods, soap, etc. The beds were very comfortable with great bed linens. We were quite happy there.

Rio Bravo Ranch - RB2 Campsite

Trans Pecos Realty ManagementRating, 5 stars28 months ago
This campsite is AMAZING! Not only are you INSIDE the State park (you enter on same road as state park but technically private land) but because it’s private there’s a locked gate and only three spots so it feels remote but safe. All three spots are spread out and lots of space to roam and explore. There are amenities available like super clean porta-potty, wood lockers to purchase more if you need, Water tanks at each site that collects clean fresh water, clear directions, close proximity and convenience to state park, fire rings, covered picnic tables, shower area, WiFi reception with Verizon which was nice to come home to, lovely & hospital host, Lauren and incredible views. This is seriously one of my favorite camping spots. If you’re headed to the Big Bend Ranch State Park you should seriously consider this option. What a memorable time! Thank you!

My wife, 4 kids, and I absolutely loved our stay here! Marfa isn't all that big, so everything is drivable within a few minutes, or walkable in probably < 10. The house has great, vibey furniture, is well-decorated, and makes you feel right at home in Marfa.

Earth House Marfa

EricRating, 5 stars1 week ago
An excellent base for exploring Marfa and the Big Bend region. The house is very comfortable with a well equipped kitchen, laundry, high-quality linens, AC, books, and even a record collection and functioning record player. The place doesn't seem quite finished; the floors in an extension are exposed concrete and the yard has some strange equipment in it and is basically unusable. But this also describes Marfa itself. Two things to consider before booking: One of the bedrooms is windowless; and the clawfoot tub really should not be used as a shower by anyone with balance or mobility issues as there are no grab bars or even non-slip treads.
