This place was absolutely beyond our expectations. It was beautiful and cozy. Have the second bedroom upstairs and detached from the bottom floor was wonderful. Both areas stocked well. Comfortable beds, roomy bathrooms. Great place to stop and rest coming from a long hike in Big Bend. Would stay here again. Hosts were wonderful!!

This was our 2nd time staying at this property and first time with a child (6 y/o) who enjoyed the outdoor space and cowboy pool. Great location within walking distance of downtown and all that Marfa has to offer. The host was inviting and communicative and we would definitely stay here again.

This was an oasis away from home. Everything was as described and shown in the listing. We enjoyed morning coffee and night stargazing on the patio with beautiful views. We were so lucky to have caught a Starlink satellite launch one of the nights. Our friends stayed in the Longhorn Casita below us, so this was perfect for those traveling with others and want some privacy. We hiked, ate great food, and made memories. For food, definitely check out Buffalo Bentley's (the food, owner and staff are stellar) and Lupita's place. Do not hesitate to book this place. We can't wait to go back. Thanks, Jennifer!

Genevieve is an excellent communicator and is super speedy with responses. The Lone Ranger suit was comfortable and welcoming, and it was so interesting to see the creativity used to decorate the space and "cover up" the old house flaws, loose boards, and cracks. Lots of unusual lamps, textiles, furniture, and odds and ends that all work to create a warm environment. The bathroom and iron tub/shower and the sink are unique and attractive. Shower in iron tub was powerful and welcome after a long day of driving across the desert. MARFA spelled out abstractly in fairy lights was so fun to see. I felt safe, it was within easy walking distance of downtown and US90 restaurants, checking in was easy. Bed and pillow were comfortable.

Brian's place is in an excellent location for exploring the town of Marfa. It is easy to walk to most places located around town. Brian is very responsive if you need any help. The place has everything you need to have a comfortable stay.

We were in Marathon for a wedding at the Gage Gardens. This home was in the perfect location for our visit. A one minute walk from the gardens and a three minute walk to the Gage Hotel, we didn’t get in our car the whole time we were there. Our kids enjoyed playing bocce ball in the back yard also!

Just the best off the beat and path get away. If you are looking to relax and separate from the world this is your place. There is no such thing as a bad view from any angle from the house.

Excellent base camp between Midland and Big Bend. We fell in love with Reata Restaurant and we went for dinner all 3 nights of our stay. Highly recommend visiting Big Bend National Park as well as the scenic drive up north 118 through the Davis mountains. We had an amazing trip and a great stay in Alpine

My Adobe Hacienda - Duplex B.

Our stay at Theresa's was great! The hacienda had everything we needed and was cool despite the heat. There was plenty of Keurig pods for our morning coffee and the backyard bird feeders were always busy! Saw a couple life list species right from the patio. The hacienda was very quiet and private and we didn't hear anything from the neighboring unit.
